My family is native to the 1000 islands. I have been coming up my whole life. We have stayed in various locations and always been pleased. This was our first time not staying waterfront. The rates as a whole have gotten so high. This place was reasonable priced and perfect accommodations for my large family. We enjoyed all the amenities and was very comfortable. Close to town. The house was exactly as described. I would recommend to my family for future visits.

Such a great place! We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at this charming country home! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease and welcomed. The house was beautifully decorated, had a hot tub and a pool, and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for our family getaway—plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore, while the adults enjoyed the serene views and fresh air. It was one of the most relaxing and most memorable weekend getaways we've ever had. The host was also incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing great local tips that enhanced our experience. This country home was the ideal retreat to unwind, reconnect, and create lasting family memories. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming escape from the city. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The backyard is absolutely beautiful and we took advantage of the pool and outdoor fireplace! The indoor space is great, loved the kitchen and all the nooks perfect for reading! If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat, highly recommend!

The cottage was spotless and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Emily’s accommodations were terrific. We were hoping to find a quiet property with a private pool. The pool was clean, heated and ready for our enjoyment when we arrived. There were pool towels easily accessible for our use. The backyard was private and relaxing. Emily’s house was immaculate and we appreciated that she checked in with us during our stay. We would definitely return to this property again in the future. It met all of our criteria and felt like the perfect home away from home!

We had a great stay at this cozy place! The host (Jake) was super responsive and made everything really easy for us. Even though we were mainly in the area to visit the Thousand Islands and just needed a spot to crash, the Airbnb itself had so much to offer—hot tub, pool, and a fun games room. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because we spotted a snake hanging around the hot tub (just one of those outdoor surprises), but aside from that, the stay was definitely worth it. Would happily come back and recommend to others!

Tanya was very accommodating and friendly. Place is peaceful and quiet. Backyard was very well kept and clean. I highly recommend the house. Will return again.

My friends and I stayed here for a couple nights, it was very clean and such cute decor. The area was so peaceful and quiet. A little further from the water than anticipated but overall wonderful stay and would definitely recommend for a restful getaway.

Maple lane was a wonderful stay, we felt right at home in the rural surroundings and the home was larger and more spacious than expected , the place was private, cleanly and serene , can’t wait to come again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chez Heron. Beautiful home with an amazing host and delicious food right next door. If we visit thousand islands again I most definitely would come back here for another stay.

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.

Daniel was very responsive. The home was as described and was actually much larger than expected, which was nice because we were a larger group.

An absolute Gem. We’ll definitely be back. A beautiful lake house, quiet and comfortable, 10 min walk to a local Diner, restaurants, and bar. The host is so friendly and communicative, Overall a great experience.

We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. This was a great place to stay for a family who wants to have a great time. It was very accommodating and a spacious place to stay. As soon as we walked in we saw how clean and nice it was kept. Finally it had everything we needed for our everyday needs, including kitchen utensils, soap and towels.

What an awesome spot! Really short drive to each A Bay and Clayton and just a short hop over the bridge to Wellesley Island. The home is super comfortable and clean and privately located directly on the water. Will stay again!

Everything was perfect ! The chalet is beautiful and the view amazing. Riley has been extremely helpful and responsive for everything we needed. His place is well furnished and very tidy which was highly appreciated ! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to come back.

We had a great stay at this AirBnB in Alexandria Bay. The location was great...only minutes from the cute downtown area. The home itself was extremely clean with plenty of linens and comfortable beds & furniture. The modern shower was a highlight for my teenagers. The host was extremely communicative, responding quickly to inquiries. They were also kind and flexible, allowing us to check-in early. I would highly recommend this AirBnB!

We had a wonderful stay and it was awesome that we could bring our thirteen month old dog. Communication was superb and so kind and responsive. The home is just like the pictures and description listed and decorated very clean, bright and homey. The extra touches of amazing things such as a welcome basket, dog items, toys for children and games made you feel like you are at home. We would totally recommend staying here.... great fishing area, backyard, not far from Clayton, Cape Vincent and Sacket Harbor.
