The Mil

Come relax at a home away from home in our quaint mother-in-law suite. (The Mil) The space accommodates 2 comfortably. There is a kitchen space equipped with hot plate, microwave and toaster oven where you can air fry, grill, bake, etc. There is a mini fridge available for use and all the basics to cook a meal. A bedroom area with queen bed and full bathroom. Living room can second as additional sleeping area. Sitting outside on the patio you have a great view of the Spanish peak mountains.

La Veta Studio Guesthouse

This charming studio guesthouse is located in the historic town of La Veta, Colorado. It nestles in a large corner property filled with perennial gardens and walkways. Enjoy the quiet ambience of the New Mexico territorial cottage, festooned with grapevines and flower pots. Judith and her husband Ernest are long time residents. Judith runs her fibre art studio from home and in the summer, hosts students from all over the world. She frequently offers the studio guest house for rent.

Walk the neighborhood and enjoy the views in every direction. Can accommodate 2 adults and one child comfortably. This apartment will NOT accommodate 3 adults. Extra guest= extra charge. Quiet time 10 PM - 7 AM. Enjoy the starry nights, & beautiful cool mountain days. Private parking in a designated space.

Our simple but charming cottage provides the perfect jumping point to a vast array of trails, lakes, and points of interest. You can bring your dogs per request(No cats) as there is huge fenced dog yard. A photographers dream and a nature lovers retreat.
