Covered patio, an outdoor swing. All on Greenhorn Creek.

The Koselig Condo

Koselig"(Norwegian) = Cozy (English). Sitting at the base of the Cuchara Mountain Park with hiking, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing outside the door. Enjoy cool mountain air after a day of hiking or a warm fire after a day of playing in the snow. Walk to the nearby Mercantile for breakfast/lunch or drive into the nearby towns of Cuchara or La Veta for dinner. A comfortable retreat for those seeking time in the wilderness. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!

This property is nestled in Greenhorn valley, right under the shadow of the mountain. Seeing wild deer, turkeys, foxes and other wildlife native to the mountain wilderness is a daily occurrence. Our simple but charming cottage provides the perfect jumping point to a vast array of trails, lakes, and points of interest. You can bring your dogs per request(No cats) as there is huge fenced dog yard. A photographers dream and a nature lovers retreat.
