Holiday rentals with a kayak in Humboldt County

The house is bigger than pictured. 4 roomy bedrooms with additional sleep space in the finished garage. The garage is a game room with a pool table, fooseball table, darts, seating, a bed or two. We had lots of fun in the game room. The living room had an easy-to-use projector tv (plus a regular tv if you prefer), with movable seating. They even provide streaming services so you don't have to log in to your own streaming sites. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of bedding and towels, and laundry on site. Super clean home. The location was great, a short drive to shopping, historic downtown, 1.5 blocks to the zoo and beautiful park with trails through redwoods. The host was proactive and super responsive to messages.

The house was beautiful. Amy was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. Amy provided extra beach and bathroom towels for our use, plus coffee and laundry detergent if we wanted. We didn't bring our dog, but there was a dog bed and bowls plus extra leash if needed. Amy went above and beyond my expectations. Wish our plans would have allowed us to stay longer. Would absolutely stay again if in the area!

Yulia’s home accommodated us and our out of town family for our son’s high school graduation. Yulia went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Every time I panicked and stormed her with questions, she went out of her way to reassure me my concerns. Her home is beautiful, calming, private, plentiful of activities, clean and much more! Her house rules are fair and easy to abide by. Her kitchen provides just about every utensil you could ever need. Love OneSBFamily💚

All was as advertised. Lovely spot. Our online maps took us around the corner for some reason, but we found the spot easy enough.

We enjoyed the local Memorial Day sights in Ferndale with a front row seat from this lovely and comfortable home.

Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay here! It was the perfect home base for exploring the surrounding Redwood parks and beaches! The hosts provided a pack n play and high chair too which was perfect for our toddler!

Wonderful place! Very peaceful and relaxing. My two girls loved the porch with outside counter and sink. Theres a great covered porch where we painted driftwood that we collected from the beach just down lighthouse road, we roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit, relaxed in the hammock and played board games inside. The internet was fast and easy to connect to. The kitchen was amazing and all the utensils and pots and pans were easily available to use. There was even a french press and coffee in the cupboard! We loved our stay! The beach was super accessible and theres a water hole not far either, about 20 minutes away. The place is called, A. W. WAY CAMPGROUND, where you can jump off rocks into a beautiful river. We will stay again. Darlene was a wonderful host and was super helpful and answered all our questions. We came from mount shasta, and it was nice coming from a small town and being welcomed into another small town.

Our weekend in this beautiful home was relaxing and fun for the kids. Our children enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was easy to find in the clean, labeled and organized kitchen. Thank you Heather for sharing your beautiful home.

The cottage had a beautiful view of the Bay. You could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes but you did need to cross the highway. The nearby beach was beautiful. The place was clean and very well supplied. It was quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was a bit rough and ready but it wasn't a problem.

This was an incredible Airbnb experience! From check in to check out Lea was a top notch and extremely warm host! We absolutely loved the cottage, it was private, peaceful, and very comfortable with every amenity we could possibly need! We were even greeted upon entry to fresh baked homemade blueberry muffins:) I’ve travelled to many countries and stayed in a multitude of accommodations utilizing Airbnb and I was absolutely delighted by this one in particular. There was not a single aspect of our stay that was not perfect! 20 out of 10! We cannot wait to return ❤️Lea is truly the epitome of a super host!

I'm always grateful to find a place that allows dogs. The rental was clean and everything we needed was available. The instructions to get inside were clear and easy. There is a great little restaurant 2 doors down as well.

This was a cute place to stay while exploring town and surfing the beaches. It was relaxing and we loved the back porch on the water. We watched the crabs moving around while we drank our coffee every morning and got to see beautiful sunsets at night.
