Cabin in the mountains

Charming mountain cabin for rent. Location at Hafjell in the immediate vicinity of Pellestova and Ilsetra, in an area with good opportunities for activities for the whole family. In spring, summer and autumn there is a road all the way up to the cabin. The cabin is located in a pleasant mountain pasture with great hiking trails right nearby and with a short distance to Hafjell (2 km to drive to Gaiastova which is the nearest starting point for alpine skiing). In winter, you have to walk about 250 meters on skis or snowshoes from a free parking space.

Hafjell is among Norway's most snow-sure destinations and here you will find a large selection of slopes regardless of skill level. In addition, you will also find one of Norway's largest prepared cross-country ski trails. The trail network is 220 kilometers long and is in terrain, mountains and plains, with slack formations. The apartment is great, very well equipped and practical, and with fantastic views of the torch man, the valley and the surrounding mountains.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Apartment in Hafjell/Øyer centre for up to 4 people (most suitable for 2 Adults & 2 kids). The apartment has its own entrance with patio, kitchen, living room with mountain views of the "Fakkelmannen" The kitchen has everything you need (dishwasher, oven/4 cooking hobs, Nespresso coffee machine. In the living room there is a double sofa bed & small dining area (see pics). A good size double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine & heated floors. There is no TV!

Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
