Farmstay holiday rentals in Hungary

Lovely slice of peace and tranquility, loved the view from the house and decking. Hot tub was nice to use in the evening. We were also visited by a deer, which was a bonus. 7 mins drive from supermarket to stock up and then make an escape.

We spent a few days at the Berek house during the holidays and had a very pleasant, relaxing vacation. All necessary information was provided - check in was super easy. The house was clean, well equipped and beautifully renovated. Petra was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and answered all our questions prior to arrival as well as during our stay. No complaints - great spot, friendly and professional host.

She was infinitely fair and kind. We were able to discuss and resolve everything.

Wonderful, clean and spacious apartment. Front patio, lawn and view of vineyard and lake great. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. Hosts are very friendly and quick to answer any questions. Thank you, it was a wonderful stay!

This place to stay was declared an island of tranquility, but a dear reader, it's not just marketing-it's a reality. Because it is. There is a cricket background orchestra, all the tools you need for cooling, heating, cooking, you can come with a baby who will have a playground, high chair, baby bed. You can go to Csárda, go bathe in the nearby facilities, or you can go to Debrecen at the Aquapark, or go to Go Karting nearby, not far from the accommodation. You can read a book on the terrace, make a fire to bacon. 4 rooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, and a washing machine, actually “do what you want.” We also spent time with each other and sat down with the host in 3: sharing a little info and perspectives. Maybe this is the first place I thought we should really go back; chill, zen. Relax. For such a stressful, bustling person like me, he can definitely do good.

A wonderful hostess who treated us to homemade Palinka and dishes. Atmosphere like home. Close to Debrecen but at the same time quiet as in the countryside. Great choice! I highly recommend it!

A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful environment, comfortable, clean, and really cozy! Helpful and kind landlord. It was ideal with family because it is well equipped and in the middle of nature. So young children were able to run outside all day in the good air with a wonderful view of Lake Balaton. Although the latter was mostly an experience for adults! :) The nearby Laci Cellar Csárda was also an outstanding experience. Thank you so much!

Beautiful place, big area, dog-friendly, fenced. House interesting, stylish. Beautiful neighborhood - great for walks, adventures, bike. Near Balaton, restaurants, shops. I recommend! Laszlo is very friendly and helpful. She has a wonderful Latte dog.

We had a lovely stay at Judit’s place with our two little kids. She was very accommodating and the house was beautiful.

This experience can only be experienced, not described. I recommend it to everyone. The description is perfect, and the other reviews speak for themselves. We were with two young children and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

We spent 3 nights here, we had a great time. The apartment is even more beautiful than the pictures, the hosts thought of everything, so we were perfectly satisfied with everything. The reception was nice and very friendly, we got a tour recommendation in the area and everything was shown in the apartment. The common garden is beautiful and the whole family is very kind. We could easily park the car in front of the house, quiet neighborhood, it was very peaceful to sleep here. Thank you for the hospitality, hopefully the house will remain for another 400 years! :)

The cottage looks exactly like the photos. It was perfectly equipped. We had a washing machine with capsules, a dishwasher with capsules, two comfortable bathrooms with towels, soap, hair dryer. In addition, the cottage had an iron and ironing board, as well as laundry dryers. In front of the cottage there was an illuminated swimming pool (the water temperature could be adjusted with a special cover), a jacuzzi and a grill. I think the cottage is very well located. It is located in Valencia, 15 minutes on foot from the lake, about 40 minutes by car from Balaton, about 1 hour by car from Budapest. The area is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The host of the cottage is very helpful and kind. Throughout the stay, he made sure that we lacked nothing. I think the cottage is well worth the price!

When I saw the cottage photos I knew it’s the right place for me and when I arrived there I just felt home. The whole area is amazing. It’s away from noise and people just you with the birds and nature of beautiful Balaton. The moment I booked the cottage on Airbnb Abel and Anita were so helpful and communicative. The moment I arrived Anita drove me to the cottage then helped me to visit some places also arranged an activity for me and my daughter. She’s an angel on earth. She made it sure that my stay is going well. The weather was raining so definitely I will come back on summer. Thank you Anita and Abel. You are amazing 🩵

It was really nice but think twice if you are not going with car, its really uphill from Alsóörs.

I can recommend to place to everyone. It is specious, the garden is huge and completely secure (great for kids). Gabi is a great host.

We spent a few days in a beautiful neighborhood, thoughtful and fantasyly renovated farmhouse. The Dorks welcomed me, and we even got a delicious pizza from the oven. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of the daily squirrel wheel in a really family atmosphere, close to nature. A special plus is that our four-legged child was able to come, and all the baby supplies were available for the two-legged.

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation near Lake Balaton. The property is absolutely spotless, with a luxurious feel throughout. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The outdoor space is truly stunning – a beautifully maintained garden and courtyard, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Another highlight was the charming wine cellar in the basement – a hidden gem that adds a lot of character to the place. Although no meals were provided, the fully equipped kitchen and nearby restaurants made it easy to enjoy our time. The pool was also fantastic – clean, peaceful, and ideal for warm, sunny days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and peaceful getaway in the Balaton area!
