Spartans are rare aluminum beauties whose roots date back nearly 100 years (1928) to the aircraft industry. With aircraft competition on the rise and housing in demand, Spartan switched gears. In 1945, the first Deco styled trailer rolled off the line. Built to the highest of quality and sleekest design, Spartans were the "Cadillacs" of trailers. The Champion is a 1955 KIT Companion luxury coach home, built in Long Beach California with the traveler in mind. The vagabond, the weekend warrior, or the extended stay will all find that it is right at home on the high bench above Flathead Lake and Somers Beach State Park. 7 miles from the West entrance of Glacier National Park, this is perfect for couples who plan to spend most of their time in Glacier. 12x14 wall tent with a wood-burning stove for chilly nights! 1.5 acres. Private Entrance, all fenced. There is a solar panel to plug in essentials, and a camp stove and fire ring for cooking. We provide a cooler and water. There is an outhouse with a propane-heated shower. Not for light sleepers! The train comes by a couple of times a night.
