Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hunterdon County

This house in Lambertville was absolutely perfect for our business weekend in town. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. We didn’t move the car once all weekend! The real gem, though, is the backyard—what a surprise! It’s a serene, beautifully maintained space, and just behind it, a gentle stream runs along the edge, creating a soothing, natural backdrop that made it feel like a true retreat. The house may be compact, but it’s thoughtfully laid out and full of charm—proof that great things really do come in small packages. The neighbors were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warmth of the experience. Truly an amazing place to spend a weekend. Highly recommended!

Really peaceful location and super responsive host! The place looks pretty much just like the pictures. But it's the location that really shines! This place is right on the canal and during spring, the ducklings are all out swimming by the front door. Also really great restauarants and bars within walking distance! A perfect mix of nature and urban living!

The cottage is beautifully restored and has all the charm while also offering modern day amenities. The hosts have truly thought of everything you may need and made it the most comfortable stay! It was easy to find and provided lots of privacy whole also being close to downtown to enjoy a dinner out. It was clean and beautifully decorated with some unique elements like a dragon shaped bathroom faucet. The hosts were very friendly and easy to reach. We would love to come back for another visit!

Had an amazing experience staying at Candace's property. The unit was very clean and had much more space than what appeared in the airbnb listing. She was very responsive and helpful the few times we messaged back and forth. The location was unbeatable with many restaurants and shops a quick walk away. Would highly recommend Candace's property and I would definitely stay with her again.

Kimberly's place was an inspired funky artsy house. It was very clean beautifully organized and thoughtfully put together. It is a two minute walk from downtown Lambertville in ten minutes from downtown new Hope.

The river house was beautiful and clean, just as described. The view of the river was amazing! We were able to enjoy a bike ride on the canal towpath, which was so easy to access. Even with the rainy weather, it was a great stay with plenty to do in the area. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Cute quaint house in a beautiful area, perfect for my friends and I while we were in town for a wedding. Lauren and her husband were quick to answer any questions and were very helpful!

My best friend and I loved our stay at Stacey's place. It was squeaky clean, private and comfortable beds! We also appreciated the complimentary Netflix. Her place was a short drive to the charming town of Historic Hopewell.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay here. One of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Elyce adds her own personal touch to your stay. We will definitely consider staying at The Weekender again in the future! Sidewalk access was a definite plus, especially if you are looking to go into town for food and drink. Everything is very is clean and welcoming. We enjoyed waking up in the morning and having coffee out on the balcony. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about this place!

This was the best BnB experience I have ever had. This dwelling has so much personality that the photos on this site didn't do it justice. Nichole and her husband (I'm assuming) made this experience beyond words. So many personal touches were added including a hand written greeting card welcoming us. A real class act and I will be back!!

My 4 day Valentine's/ Birthday weekend stay was fabulous! Fiona put up birthday and Valentine's decorations. Plus had flowers, candy & snacks. The home was very clean. It had everything we could possibly use or need. Love the hot tub, both covered porches and only a 2 block walk to shops & eateries. I would highly recommend and would love to come back again!

Me and my boyfriend had the pleasure of staying at Ian’s airbnb. There was road work so it was a little complicated to get in and out, but once we got that settled it was a breeze. Ian provided us with great instructions and even gave us recommendations of places to go to. The airbnb is exactly like it’s listed and perfect for two people. The neighbors in the attached home were extremely friendly and we had no issue with noise other than construction in the morning, but it was bearable since it wasn’t an all day thing. We had everything we needed at the airbnb like washer, dryer, heat and A/C as well as WI-FI! This place was a perfect weekend getaway and I’m so grateful that Ian was super responsive to help us with any questions we had!! Thank you so much Ian!! Great host!!!

A wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Loved all the art work. Very well equipped kitchen. Lots of towels. Coffee in the fridge as well as pods. All very clean and well cared for. Really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for all your care and thoughtfulness.
