The communication with Helga was very easy. The apartment was big and spacious and looked like the pictures. Big bathroom with everything you need (even laundry machine and dryer). 20min walk to the city center which is very doable as you walk along the shopping street. Just a shame that the windows were not really clean to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the apartment. Otherwise all was clean and good! Thanks for the nice stay. :)

A great place to stay, close to the water, great views! Very convenient to do trips to the golden circle and south coast and around Reykjavik. Thordis was also an excellent host with very good communication before and during our stay with good local recommendations. Her place was also very comfortable, clean and made us feel right at home!

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

Jon was a great host! Really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. We were just 2-3 blocks from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Beautiful apartment with an excellent location, we enjoyed a great space with comfortable beds. Silla is very kind and her husband too, we were able to greet them both. If you have the chance to stay in this apartment, don't think twice.

A well-equipped, spacious basement appartment in a quiet neighbourhood just outside Reykjavik. It is easy to reach by car, and there are supermarkets, gas stations and charging stations at a 5-minute drive distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. And, speaking as a cat lover: there are 2 gorgeous big cats walking around that will come and say hello.

Wonderful apartment in an ideal location - a couple blocks from the Skolavordustigur (rainbow) street but in a quiet area just far enough to avoid any street noise. Nice views from the windows. Well outfitted apartment with all the conveniences. Free parking was a very nice feature. Although no reserved spot, there were always spots available for us in the apartment building lot.

The host was very polite and responsive. The location was amazing. We found everything we expected and had a great time in the cottage.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Good place to stay near downtown.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. A beautiful and peaceful place in a neighborhood of new construction, far enough away from the crowd and tourists downtown but close enough to get there in 20min by car when desired. Easy access to the Golden Circle. Was perfect for my family and having two bathrooms was particularly nice. Communication was always quick and excellent.

Very nice place to stay, great location, parking can get a little hectic but that can be expected.

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

Our stay at Audur’s place was great. Amenities were as described and the place was extremely clean and private. It was plenty of space for four.

This penthouse was the perfect location for exploring the city. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, the apartment beautifully staged and had every amenity we needed. Hilmar was a wonderful host who provided great recommendations from parking to restaurants. My favorite was Kol located on the ground floor of the same building. Hilmar left very clear instructions on everything we could possibly need and was so kind to offer us a late check-out. When I come back I would love to stay here again!

The apartment was exactly as described and immaculate. But what I liked best was that it was in a tranquil neighborhood with outstanding views across a bay and easy access to downtown. Once I drove downtown, once I walked along the bay and once I took a chance on a scooter (very easy path to follow, but since that was my first ride ever, it was harrowing!). I appreciated that Kjartan made my stay exceptionally easy - most of my questions (what’s the WiFi password, where’s the nearest grocery store, etc) were answered in advance, and then again in a helpful booklet in the apartment. Thank you, Kjartan, for a fantastic stay in Reykjavik!
