We loved the stay here! the view from the hot tub is amazing we spent so much time in it! and we were very lucky with the weather the cast said rain but we only got sun and the rain was in hella so we were very lucky for that. we also had some problems with the grill but atli helped out with that and we had a great time! i recommend this place if you like to be private and have amazing views from the hot tub. 10/10 would stay again.

We have enjoyed this house! Well located to explore the golden circle and very relaxing with the river down the yard.

if you are looking to unwind, relax, take in beautiful views and take advantage of your natural surroundings this home is perfect. my wife and I loved spending the first couple days of our vacation here and hope to return to Akranes one day and will look to stay here again. thank you Odd and Frida!!

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with a great view thats quiet and peaceful. We stayed here for 4 days on a girls trip and it was everything we wanted-- being able to unplug and disconnect was fantastic. The hosts were super responsive and provided lots of easy to follow instructions for check-in/out and during out stay answered any questions we might have.

Cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings

Fjola's hut was fantastic in a quiet country setting, beautiful surroundings & close to attractions. Very clean, communicated quickly. So peaceful & relaxing. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for having us. Regards 😀😃🙂

A cozy stay, great if you are looking to get away from the city. It's a bit far from any convenient stores so pack up before you arrive. Overall, a great cabin.

Excellent location, unbeatable cabin

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Paulina sent us clear and detailed instructions in advance on how to arrive and unlock the house, which made the arrival much easier. We spent a lovely three days here. The location is quiet and ideal for relaxation, the kitchen is well equipped, with a large refrigerator. We also appreciated the nice details, such as basic food, tea, coffee, ketchup or prepared slippers. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with double beds, in the attic there is a lowered ceiling, but you can still move comfortably. I can highly recommend staying with Paulina!

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

Maria's cabin is out of the way on a small lake. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin had all the necessities and comfortable beds. One bedroom was on the small side, but the main bedroom was large. The only issue was a difference in how America and Icelandic people make their number 1's. I thought the Wi-Fi code had a 7 in it but it was a 1. After I figured that out, the Wi-Fi worked great. :-)

This is one of the most extraordinary places in the world. Go here and breathe in the fjord, the mountains, the night sky, and feel the meaning of life unfold.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was quaint with lots of character in a beautiful setting. It looked just like the photos. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and the home was charming and perfect for our family of 5. We loved the hot tub! Sveinn communicated all instructions perfectly for a flawless stay! The location of this cottage is perfect for exploring the south coast with an easy quick drive to Skogafoss and Seljalandfoss and less than an hour from Vik! We had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend. We would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Iceland.

My family and I were looking for a place to stay that was close to the ferry to the Westman Islands. Being that this home was not in the capital of Reykjavik we were not sure how up-to-date the amenities would be, but the home exceeded all our expectations! It is so quirky but so welcoming from the minute you walk in. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fluffy towels and robes, you can't ask for more! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so were able to take advantage of comfortable outdoor seating with spectacular views. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. We also enjoyed the porch during breakfasts and dinners. The house was perfect for 2 people.

Exactly as described. Host met us in person to explain about the plentiful terns and nesting eider ducks. We had an early flight so appreciated the proximity to airport

The accommodation was really super cozy and cleverly furnished. There are two beds upstairs and the couch can also be folded out. We slept on top of the beds and had a wonderful view in the evening. The only thing I would like to point out is that the beds are quite small. I am 1.70 and fit in quite well, but it will eventually become a bit tight. We would come again again on any case!

Hildur was an incredible host! The Kot was neat and clean and had everything we needed. Visiting from another country Hildur gave us suggestions of activities and restaurants to visit that we did not know about and they were definitely wins! She was also very quick to respond to all our messages and accommodating to our needs.

Guðfinna’s place was the only one where we stayed two nights on our Iceland trip, and it was so worth it. The surroundings included horses, sheep, birds, and great views. The house itself was private and had everything one could ask for. In addition, Guðfinna and her daughter were friendly on all occasions during our stay.

Great place away from the crowds. Close enough to town to pop in for a meal or to get to the grocery store in 5 min. Well equipped house to have some meals at home. Good location relative to various sights in southern Iceland. Nice place for a family of 4.

We loved our time at Steina's home. It is perfectly outfitted and homey, with thoughtful touches. We enjoyed time on the deck and relaxing in the home. Steina was a wonderful communicator and left clear instructions on how to get into the home. The home was very clean and comfortable. We would love to come back and stay again!
