Leeward Retreat is an immaculately clean and beautifully decorated vacation home. The host responded quickly to any questions I had. Instructions for accessing the home were very clear. We felt at home from the moment we entered. We cooked two meals during our visit and found the kitchen to be well-equipped with everything one needs to cook any type of meal from simple to elaborate. The beds were very comfy. I loved lounging by the waterfront pool and chatting with the very friendly staff at the pool bar, as well as the convenience of the Cafe' and Provision store. I had dinner two of the three nights at the Harbor Club and the food was good. We would definitely return to this lovely home and the peaceful surroundings of River Dunes. Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely home!

We rented two houses for week for a family gathering. This was our second time staying at River Dunes. The houses and location were fantastic for our week. The amenities at River Dunes are wonderful, from the pool to the kayaks, to the bikes everything was great!

The house is even better than the pictures! The best AirB&B we have ever stayed in. You get more than what is pictured and that not normally the case. It was like walking into a brand new home. Would recommend over and over again.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was outstanding! Excellent communication and cleanliness of home was great. Highly recommend staying here if fishing is your thing. would definitely stay here in the future.

If you’re looking for a huge place for you and your family in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful location I definitely recommend it! My family and I really enjoyed the big porch! The view of the river was really nice

We really enjoyed our time at the Shell house. Both apartments are equipped with high end fixtures and appliances, and the cabinets were thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. What’s more, Jeanne and Tony went out of their way to make our time in Belhaven comfortable and enjoyable.

Great spot to stay for a duck hunting trip. All the amenities needed for a bunch of duck hunters. 10 minute drive from Cambell Creek and Oyster Creek boat access.

This location is everything! Secluded and private with the most STUNNING views. Perfect for a private getaway 🥰 Nicole. B was a dream to work with! Would definitely recommend this stay!

We loved the location. Lots to do, using the golf cart & bicycles was a bonus. Very comfortable accomodations. Would recommend to friends & family.

we have came to engelhard for 18 years now and so sad that we just now found this place! we will be staying here every year for our annual hunting trip! the games made it very fun for us all. was very roomy and felt like a nice lodge that could accommodate a large group! see you again next January!!!!

The home is on the waterway with a view across to the undeveloped side which was lovely. As we would go out walking residents in the area would say hello. The screened in porch was great with nice furnishings (as was the rest of the house). Comfy beds including a bedroom and bath on the main floor, The dishes, utensils, and cookware were all in excellent condition. We liked that there was space to store our nonperishables. Would stay again, if in the area. Two senior citizens, two adults, & a small dog.

Centrally located, excellent views and everything you need. Wonderful selection of kids games and legos to fill time in between adventures.

Great spot on Ocracoke Island! Property was clean, great space, very walkable to Springers Point, the Lighthouse and town. Ocracoke Realty manages this property and they are fantastic to work with. Highly recommend!

A really cute beach house that allowed us to unplug and spend lots of time exploring the island on our bikes. We liked that it was centrally located in a sleepier neighborhood but anything we wanted to do was close by . The place was clean and we enjoyed staying there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Reminiscence. The house is lovely and comfortable, the location is peaceful and quiet, yet quite close to both the beach and the village. We appreciated having the whole house to ourselves, and loved the location!

The house was exactly what we expected. It was a lovely, older home. Unique and we were secure and safe. Enjoyed our vaca.

The place was nice, but you'd better bring everything with you when you arrive. No Toilet paper, paper towels. You need things to clean pots and pans, as well as items to scrub and wash dishes. So, if you do stay here, have a bag with all your cleaning supplies and toiletries ready for easy access, especially if you have kids who need to use the bathroom right away. I would stay here again, but I would be better prepared when I arrive. Don't let what I'm saying stop you from staying here; have what you need packed before you arrive.

A wonderful beach cottage. Clean, comfortable and a great location. The host was responsive when we reached out and the place was equipped with everything you could need. Definitely returning in the future!
