Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

As former residents of Idyllwild, we were so impressed with this little cabin! It is perfectly located- you’re close enough to town that you can walk, but far away enough for privacy and quiet. We were here during the spring and loved having the option to make a fire in the evening when it got chilly. The house itself is very minimalist, but tasteful. The only thing we wish we had was a washer/dryer because we stayed for a week and would’ve loved the option to clean our clothes during our stay. But overall, definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting the town.

David’s place is even better than the photos. Charming, FULLY stocked with kitchen supplies, roomy and well cared for. We enjoyed using the fireplace and cooking in the kitchen, which has anything you could need, including spices.

Great place. Very bright and roomy. The soaking tub was super relaxing. Loved the deck and wandering around the property. It was close to the nature center and town. Great place and great host!

This was a wonderful little mountain oasis that was perfect for me and my dogs. The back deck is wonderful for relaxing, listening to the creek, and watching all the birds and squirrels. My dogs especially liked chasing the squirrels. The walking trail behind the house gives you easy quick access to town without having to drive. It also extends a good 2 miles beyond town for those that want to stretch their legs or give their dogs a long walk. The house had all the things I needed. And the hosts were very gracious in explain everything I needed to know about the house from food storage to lights. I will definitely be back again to stay at this house.

This is a dream mountain house! My husband and I absolutely loved everything about it! Gorgeous views in every room. Spacious living area with high ceilings, decorated with such great taste, sophistication and restraint. Well equipped kitchen, nicely remodeled bathrooms, spacious master bedroom with comfortable bed, a deck with endless views... And what a wonderful host: Astrid was so generous and kind, truly welcoming! We can't wait to stay here again!

I absolutely loved my stay here and don’t think the photos did it justice! The surrounding views were great to wake up to and it felt like we had so much privacy. Everything was clean inside, the bed was comfy, and the vibe was very homey. The house was very cold when we arrived, but the loft area heated up quickly! We didn’t utilize the wood burner stove, but would definitely recommend for colder weather. We also used the hot tub which worked perfectly fine. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back, thanks Alexander 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Julee and Ross’ lodge. The place was very clean, even the floors were spotless. It’s toddler friendly with books and games to keep them entertained. Also had a few fun visitors like chipmunks and lizards to watch out the window. Area is quiet and peaceful and a quick drive into town. Kudos to Ross for being super responsive and sending us detailed instructions. Thank you!

This condo is in a nice quiet complex, a very short uber ride from the action in downtown Palm Springs. The parking and entry instructions were very clear which made checking in a breeze. It is comfortably furnished with a nice little patio great for enjoying morning coffee. I would definitely stay again.

Great location and nice to be able to have our small dogs with us. The only improvements I would suggest are that the pet fee be more obvious in the description and not buried in the additional details where it is easy to miss. Also, letting the customer know sooner in the booking process and not 45 min before check-in, just in case there needed to be a change. Otherwise, it is a gem of a spot, so better pictures on Air BnB would probably help sell it as there were only about 7 pics and they didn't fully show how cute the hotel actually was. I loved the location. Close to downtown, grocery, coffee and restaurants. Plenty of room for guests to visit, and very private secure area. Michael was always quick to respond to my questions.

Perfect place to stay in the heart of Palm Springs. The host was great and responsive. The room was clean, nice and very well put together. Plenty of space and the outdoor area is very well kept as well. Highly recommend if you stay in Palm Springs.

I throughly enjoyed my time at A.J.’s lovely unit. It was directly across from the Convention Center, where I was presenting throughout the week. I was able to have a quiet, peaceful oasis to come back to unwind between sessions. I was also able to make yummy meals each day in the fully appointed kitchen to keep myself fueled. And, I was able to rest and relax and sleep well in the comfy confines! I also was able to walk all over town. The Thursday night street festival was only blocks away, and the restaurants and nature and all Palm Springs had to offer were at my fingertips. Thanks for everything!

The place was exactly as described and was beautiful and very clean. The communication was very clear and it turned out to be a great home. The bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen has a lot of equipments to use. Overall the place worth the location and the price there. The heating price for the pool was dynamic which they should have mentioned on the listing but once we spoke to them, they charged us the amount and the heating started and the pool was very good. Overall a great stay I would recommend to anyone.

Wow! Soon as I opened the entrance of this amazing house it was officially vacation time! (The photos are amazing though really doesn’t do this place justice). The layout of the house, the ease of controlling the functions of the house on a pad, perfect location to Palm Springs activities and equipped with all the needs/wants for the ideal home away from home adventure! I seriously didn’t want to leave and I actually extended my stay cause it was hard to break away from all these comforts. There is nothing better than being in this setting with some friends or family creating some life long memories! All I can say if you want to really feel you had a vacation? Then I recommend staying at this Mid-Century Modern House where the host thought of everything and made sure my stay was memorable. Can’t wait to rent again soon!

Angela was a fantastic host, and her condo is absolutely charming. It’s clear she’s put a lot of care and thought into making it a welcoming space for her guests. The community was warm and inviting. Multiple pools, community bbqs, and well-maintained shared spaces. I loved exploring the neighborhood—so many interesting homes. There was some noise from the upstairs neighbor, but it became easy to tune out after a couple of days and didn’t affect my overall experience. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Our stay absolutely exceeded expectations. The villa was stunning, clean, comfortable, and located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful views. The pool was perfect for the sunny weather, and we loved relaxing there after long days at Stagecoach. It was also conveniently close to the convention center where we caught the shuttle each day. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a charcuterie board, fruit basket, and wine waiting for us upon arrival. We’d definitely stay here again!

We were a small group of friends in town for a golf weekend and thoroughly enjoyed Daniela's home. The location was ideal -- close enough to restaurants and night-life to make for a quick uber ride but removed enough to feel private and secluded when enjoying the pool/outdoor space. The house was spotless and every kitchen amenity you could think of was made available. Daniela was also so nice and accommodating, allowing for a very early bag drop so we could make our first day of golf in time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home tucked up on the hill. It was Private and modern, and a nice neighborhood for an evening stroll. Very close drive to downtown Palm Springs for restaurants. Pool and outdoor area was perfect. Thanks for sharing your home!

My girlfriends and I had a blast! We’re still talking about when we can go back. I was so happy to see Palm Springs so vibrant again. Though it was hot, people were out and about, and the pool was amazing—perfect temperature! We spent our first day swimming and relaxing. We had a lovely dinner at The Farm, recommended by Travis. We explored the neighborhood quite a bit—no sidewalks, but the wide streets made it easy. The kitchen was ideal for cooking and making cocktails, and I loved that there was a guitar. Every room had direct access to the pool, and the setting was beautiful. On our last day, we toured the area, seeing Bob Hope’s and Frank Sinatra’s home, and passed by the wild Robolights exhibit. We did a short drive to Palm Desert for shopping, and also enjoyed browsing downtown Palm Springs, stopping for lunch and visiting the giant Marilyn Monroe statue at the park by the art museum. A fantastic trip all around!
