Holiday rentals in Ilha do João Araújo

We had an incredible experience at Sitio dos Tucanos. The space is beautiful, cozy and extremely tasteful. Incredibly well equipped. It has great kitchen utensils, all the electronics. The room is cozy, firewood was available for the fireplace, blankets were available in the room. The bathrooms are a show in themselves, with towel warmers and bath products available. The host responds quickly and always asks to help. The bedroom bed and all the bedding are excellent. The outdoor area has a beautiful garden and a deck for exercising and enjoying some sun. I took my little dog Gaya and she loved it because we did the trail that is behind the house with a breathtaking view. We also enjoyed the Lavandário de Cunha, which is a few kilometers away and is a must-see. The restaurants in the area are wonderful and super easy to access. We count the days to go back.

Excellent stay at Rafael's, the house is more beautiful than in the photos, always clean. Arrivals were easy with boat transportation from the Marina. The place is superb, there are kayaks available, don't miss a morning walk with Ilha da Pescaria it's beautiful. Also the local agency boats pick you up directly from the house

the house is amazing with a wonderful view. Hugo is friendly and we helped with everything we need. It provided kayak and standup and was cool to turn around the island. Mercadinho and restaurant nearby. Indico and I will return!!

Casa da Mena is a piece of paradise and the whole team made us feel at home. Victor, Eliel and Rogeria are a wonderful team and the house is impeccable. It sits on the most beautiful cove of this amazing island, facing a gorgeous bay. Waking up to this view was breathtaking and every other day we were greeted with the sight of Toucans in the morning. Rogeria cooked us delicious breakfast and lunch and had the best caipirinhas waiting for us after Eliel took us on beautiful boat rides around Paraty. The location is excellent, just a few minutes boat ride from Paraty, with many options of beautiful beaches nearby. The house is pristine and the decoration is tasteful and soulful. We really can't wait to be back!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful place. The location is excellent—right on the beach with direct access to the water, and surrounded by a quiet, green area. It felt very private and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The loft was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, an outdoor shower, and a cozy patio where we spent a lot of time just hanging out and enjoying the view. It’s an ideal spot for a couple looking to relax and recharge. Thiago and Paula were fantastic hosts. Communication was excellent—they were always quick to respond, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a great stay. This trip was very special for us, and staying here definitely made it even better. We’d love to come back and would recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet and comfortable place by the beach.

Our experience in this house could not have wished for more. The house is even more amazing than in the pictures. The master suite is perfect. Aline and Raquel were super attentive, helpful, polite, helped us with everything. The house overlooks the sea and is 30 seconds walking to the beach. In fact, it is practically a private beach. We were on an extended holiday there, and even so, the beach was exclusive to us. The location is great too. It has two kiosks/restaurant facing the sea on a 5min hike. And another amazing little bar 20 minutes away on a quiet trail to make. And is about 20 min by historic centrinho boat. We recommend a lot and we will be back for sure.

The place was amazing, immersed in nature and very private. Place was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed. One note: the trail down to the waterfall is steep, muddy, and hard to navigate in some places... but once you get there, its absolutely beautiful and very private.
