Cozy, spacious and bright 1 bedroom apartment in a historical and traditional neighborhood, in central Lisbon but quiet at the same time. Close to main attractions, public transports and with local commerce, restaurants and bars. Located in the district of Sao Bento, just next to the parliament, it's surrounded by the districts of Bairro Alto and Principe Real, Chiado, Santa Catarina and Bica, Santos and Estrela. All this within walking distance, just depending on the direction you choose to go! At the end of the street you have the mythic tram 28 which travels around the most important areas of interest through the heart of Lisbon and can easily take you to the Castle, Alfama, Mouraria and Graça, across downtown on to the other hills of Lisbon. The apartment has 1 Bedroom with double bed. 1 big open space with lounge area, dining table and kitchen area. 1 bathroom. 2 small balconies and a lot of natural light. Third floor, no elevator. Internet access, CD player and radio, equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towels included. Information about local commerce, transports and attractions available, tips and advices about Lisbon culture and events from friendly host (speak english, french and spanish). This typical fisherman's house, with 30m2, was rehabilitated in 2017, and now have: - Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, clothes and refrigerator, dining table and 2 chairs. - Living room with a comfortable sofa, TV, WI-FI. - WC with shower. - Mezzanine, with a access staircase, with double bed (160cmx180cm), writing desk and a charriot. Guests can access all areas except the storage area. Usually we will be present at the entrance and exit and available for any unforeseen situation. Stroll down to the water just a few steps away at the end of the road. Venture out and explore the neighbourhood filled with quaint houses, lovely restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops. Preferably walk as it your in the center of the village of Alcochete. Smoking is not allowed, nor bring pets. No parties or events allowed Children up to 1 year old for safety reasons, since there are no gates or doors on the stairs between the mezzanine / bedroom and the ground floor.

Barreiro has excellent transportation: in 18 minutes by boat you can reach downtown Lisbon, and by train, Setúbal in 28 minutes or Évora in 1 hour. Both stations are also just a short walk away (boat: 20 min / train: 10 min).
