The house is very comfortable, has lots of space, comfortable beds, large bathrooms, a large kitchen. Also, you have a nice view from the garden, where you can get fresh fruit from. The house is well located right in town and a short (20 min) drive to Laguna Cuicocha and short drive (20 min) to Otavalo. Overall we were happy with the house and the host was very responsive. The kitchen does not have any spices or oils so you'll need to grab those along with your groceries if you plan to cook. Grocery store is really close by so that's convenient too. The house gets a bit warm during during the sunny days (we were there in August), which meant you couldn't use a portion of the house for part of the day. If you're looking to explore the Imbabura area, this is a great place to do it from.

Nuestra experiencia en esta casa fue maravillosa, la vista que ofrece es espectacular. La casa está bien equipada, limpia y organizada. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue la atención de Susana, quien fue sumamente amable, atenta y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo momento. Su calidez y hospitalidad hicieron que nuestra estancia sea muy especial. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque un refugio con vistas impresionantes y un trato excepcional.

En general todo muy bien con el alojamiento, tuvimos un inconveniente con el WiFi pero Alejandro muy amable y se solucionó fácilmente.

Franklin is an amazing host. when I asked for something he went above and beyond and in a very timely manner. the house is in a very safe area, which was important to us. the yard was great for our 2 dogs. the fireplace was awesome and wood was supplied. there are little restaurants close by or you can taxi for $1.5 into the town of Cotacachi. there is also a tienda close by for bread etc. we were not used to barking dogs in the night, but that will not stop us from returning. definitely recommend Franklin's place.

It was my 5th month staying at this Airbnb and I must say it was the best decision. To start the year here was a blessing. Thank you Nanja and Klaus for everything. You’re the best for being attentive, caring and kind. Highly recommend to any Airbnb user plus the mountain views are beautiful to wake up to. Peace

This is an amazing cottage. It is beautifully appointed and surrounded by lovely flowers. Rut, our host, was so kind, and helpful. Our first afternoon, we arrived after nearly three days of travel. Exausted and without anything to eat, she offered to get us Chinese take-out. She provided a book with every detail needed to fully enjoy our stay. She took my wife on an extensive tour of downtown so we could get our bearings. Big plus, there's filtered water from the tap, no messing with bottled water. One of the best things, every day there was a cloud of butterflies in her backyard. It was a blizzard of white. Rut showed us where they laid thier eggs and developed the chrysalis. It’s a butterfly garden. We stayed six weeks and loved every minute. Rut is a super host for good reason.

Jairo fue un excelente anfitrión, un lugar céntrico y cerca de todo, fue fácil llegar, cuenta con una habitación principal con una cama amplia y muy cómoda, una cocina muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario, en general todo estuvo bien, un alojamiento bonito y acogedor...

El departamento estuvo excelente muy cómodo y acogedor, con todos los implementos necesarios y la estadía fue muy agradable, definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo totalmente.

El lugar es muy lindo, limpio y cómodo, lo que si nos complico un poco es que el lugar para retirar el control del estacionamiento esta algo lejos y por trafico nos llevo como 30 min ir y volver, de ahí todo perfecto muy recomendado
