The King's Chamber in the chateau

In the center of Berry, 5 minutes from the Castle Valençay, enjoy a moment of calm and relaxation in the King's Chamber. Located in the castle tower of PLEASE, you will appreciate its charm and its authentic period furniture. You'll also enjoy the beauty of the castle grounds you can have full with garden furniture. During your stay, the owner, Jean-Claude Guyot, will be happy to give you a private tour of the castle to discover its history, its hidden corners and its mysteries. A breakfast special is served on request in your bed.

This 18th century authentic presbytery offers all modern comforts spread over an area of 250m2. 3 double and 1 single bedrooms have their own private bathroom 2 bedrooms for 3 kids 1 double bed in the upstairs living room Next to that we can add 1 airbed to create more beds. On the ground floor you'll find a relaxation lounge including fireplace, games/yoga room and gym. The park has 2 ponds, a river with a free rowing boat and canoes for adventures trips, as well as a classic pétanque court.

Built in 1801 the Chateau retains many of the original features. Set in grounds of approx 5 acres. You will be staying in the Forest View suite with superb views from your balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities are in your room with biscuits and chocolates, a continental breakfast is included in your stay. There is a king size bed, twin wardrobes, drawers and space for a cot, a small child up to 2 year of age stays free in the cot. Your own private bathroom with cast iron roll top bath.

This carefully restored 16th century castle, located on the Chemin des Maîtres Sonneurs, in the country of George Sand, welcomes you alone or with family to recharge your batteries or to discover the region and its various classified monuments. Various cultural activities (Chopin festival in Nohan, luthiers festival at the Château d'Ars, etc.), nautical base, golf and car circuit within 15 km as well as the Lignières racecourse. Gîte - Château de Mazières

At the gates of the Brenne, nestled in a river loop with listed banks, the Domaine de Mazières, a veritable green setting, is a great haven of peace. This place is that of the tranquility, the walk and the charm so particular of the Bas-Berry and which lets itself be glimpsed in the middle of a park of 20 hectares with its imposing dungeon of the 12 century. At the limestone outbuildings, the estate offers 5 guest rooms, 2 suites as well as two cottages with views of the castle.

Stay at the castle for one night or more, in our guest room for 2 people with pool and view of the hilly park. Its small balcony will allow you to enjoy the setting sun. It has a bathroom with shower and toilet. It is a spacious room and carefully decorated in a vintage style. You can also book a quality table d'hôte. Visit the castles of the Loire Valley during the day and then enjoy the castle lounges to read, have tea, and rest.

Chateau Mareuil

Our beautiful Medieval Chateau is situated close to Montmorillon and Le Dorat in the Vienne region. The chateau itself sleeps up to 13 people in 2 luxurious turret suites and a family bedroom on the ground floor with adjacent shower room. In addition, there are two recently renovated gites, sleeping 6 and 2 which can be rented separately (see separate ads). We live on site in a separate cottage with our 2 chateau cats!

Château de Saint-Chartier - Blue room

When we watch a historical film, especially one set in medieval times, we always wonder what life in the castle must have been like. We invite you to live that experience in ours. It is a 12th century castle built on the foundations of a 10th century Benedictine priory and this, on the foundations of a Gallo-Roman village. A war fortress listed as a historic monument by the French government.

Gîte de l'étang Neuf between woods, meadows, ponds.

Charming fully equipped cottage in a restored farmhouse in a beautiful setting in the heart of the Etangs de la Brenne. You will see many animals passing through the 200 hectares estate and several ponds during your stay: deer, wild boar, hares and birds. Numerous walks possible. Private outdoor space on the field side, up to 6 people, 2nd cottage possible with 8 people max.
