Even though we are secluded, we have all the comforts of home, from indoor plumbing and hot water to AC and Wi-Fi. Our TV has a Firestick, so bring your Netflix or Disney+ account and stream away your nights after you retire from roasting Smores on the outdoor firepit. A self-Inflating bed takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.

The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Kari was a fantastic host and always responded to our messages. The place was great, very comfortable bed and cozy spot. The large double shower was fantastic for me and my wife. She really made us feel welcomed and the dogs felt right at home with lots of land to run on. We would definitely recommend a stay with Kari and we will be coming back again.

My husband and I made a last minute stop at Connie's Place on our way through Florida. We were welcomed quickly with a quick response to our reservation request. We really enjoyed the space and all the surroundings. The bed was super comfy, the amenities a plenty and a perfect little bathroom. The area seemed like a really cool spot to spend some time at, unfortunately, our stay was very short. The restaurant seemed to be the SPOT to be at on a Saturday morning. There were lots of visitors, but it did not cause any extra fuss or noise for us. We hope to come back soon for a visit and to enjoy this area a little more.
