House holiday rentals in Inverclyde

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage 2 nights were not enough to fully appreciate the internal and external space. Very homely feeling.

The home is exactly as pictured and described. It is spacious, beautifully decorated/furnished, well thought out and really well equipped. We were comfortable right from walking through the door. We were a family of 6 made up of 3 generations and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was amazing. The fittings are good quality. The star of the show is the view, which is spectacular from both the lounge/diner and conservatory. There was ample parking for two cars. The location is fabulous - there is so much to do. We would go back in a heartbeat. A fabulous home.

great location for station, easy accommodation for short stay

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

Great place for a big family or group of friends. We enjoyed the pub around the corner, the park right next to the place and Balloch in general. Supermarket very close by and Anne was super responsive. The place needs a good deep clean (kitchen, floors and bedrooms) and some TLC here and there but Anne was an excellent host, very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Booked this for a stag do for 9 guys and we had a great time (A few had to share double beds!) The pool table, hot tub, darts, kayaks etc were brilliant to keep us entertained. The house was immaculate and very spacious. We really appreciated the free drinks in the fridge on arrival, as we arrived a little late. I would definitely recommend for a group getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Shona”s. Comfortable, could stay longer, well equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were both a bit small but functional , and made use of small spaces. Very much as described in listing. 10 am checkout on the weekend was a bit early. We were lucky the sun shone in the afternoon and the view was great. Lots of walking around the area. Would recommend. Shona was great to deal with.

We stayed at Bella Vista Manor for a long weekend for a private family event. The house is set in such a beautiful peaceful location, luckily we were blessed with the warm sunny weather during our stay and had uninterrupted stunning views across to the mainland - the sunsets and rises from the house and garden were just spectacular. As for the house itself - we were a party of nine and we found there was plenty of space for everyone and it was spotlessly clean and reasonably well equipped. The house has retained many of it orginal features - especially the stain glass windows which were lovely. Would definitely recommend this lovely house if you are looking to stay in a nice peaceful, quiet location with stunning views.

The accommodation was beautiful and I felt very much at home. The home had everything needed to make a pleasant & relaxing holiday. The location & its surrounding were stunning. I would have loved to do more walks, especially further up the forestry path, however, I did feel a little vulnerable being a solo traveller. Needless to say, felt very safe & secure in Bethan’s home & I would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Lovely home in Largs, within walking distance to everything you need. We stayed with a group of 8 and would have liked a bigger table in the communal space but otherwise had a lovely time. Thank you!

Wonderful house which felt bigger than we expected- there was loads of room for us as an older family of 5. It had everything we needed and is in a quiet road so felt very peaceful, whilst still being a short walk from the shops and attractions in Largs. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

I had a great stay! The place was spotlessly clean and offered a stunning view. The interior design is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. It's a perfect base for exploring the Glasgow area. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.

Great location, very peaceful and a short walk to local pubs and restaurants. Pamela was amazing just the best host. Always at the other end of the phone if we needed anything even gave us a lift to the train station and arranged a taxi for us. Thank you Pamela
