The place was super clean and had everything we needed. It was a great spot for our Death Valley trip. Maria was so kind and welcoming — she and her husband met us at the door, showed us around, and made us feel right at home. She also replied to messages really quickly. Awesome stay overall!

Our stay was amazing! The property is spacious and has everything you would need - including portable heaters in the bedrooms which was great as it was pretty cold when we went. It is in a beautiful location with snow capped mountains surrounding the town.

Great place to stay! Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We even got some snow the last night we were there. The house is spacious and welcoming. Plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out. Home rules/instructions regarding access, temperature control, etc. were clear and easy to follow.

I highly recommend this place to stay! So easy to find, beyond easy to park (right next to the front door). Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood, easy walk to the restaurants and shops in town. It’s really nice to stay off of the main drag. There’s a cute porch to sit on that faces Mt. Whitney, which you can also enjoy while dining in the kitchen. Immaculately clean, modern, updated appliances and flooring in a cute 50’s era house - everything basic you’d need is provided (for cooking, showering - there is even laundry!) HUGE tv and very comfortable furniture and bed. I’d imagine a through hiker would be in heaven! The air conditioning in the front room is a life saver. Great water pressure - nothing bad at all to say! Easiest check in ever with the keypad. Make sure to hit the top button to lock on the way out! You’ll hear it. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay with lots of room for our family of six. Easy in and out for Death Valley. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking dinner after a long day in the park. Bonnie was helpful before during and after our stay. I highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat

The host went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience—communication was prompt, friendly, and super helpful throughout my stay. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything I needed (and more!). It truly felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail was outstanding—from the cozy linens and thoughtful touches to the local tips and recommendations that really enhanced my trip. The place looks better than the pictures. We enjoyed our stay for 1 week. The view sitting upfront was amazing. Having coffee sitting at the front porch was unforgettable. The kitchen was stocked fully. Everything you would ever need. House was very bright spacious and plenty of air to go around. We love the fact that it was about 3 min. Drive to the town which gave us tranquility that we desired. We are already discussing to come back soon again.

Checkers place was on the whirl side of town, which made it a little easier to get to death Valley national Park. About 50 minutes. It was super easy getting in and everything was as described.

Wonderful stay! Small miscommunication at check-in but it was resolved quickly and David was great! The home was very clean, tons of generous goodies offered which was greatly appreciated, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The walk to the private beach was very easy and very enjoyable, did some fishing right from the shore! Close to trails, restaurants, water rafting outposts and loved the ice cream shop downtown! Huge portions! We would definitely return to this home!

Paul’s Airbnb is truly a retreat location. The house has everything you need with a peaceful vibe. Paul will greet you and give you the lay of the land. His tips were essential to me enjoying my time there, finding the local spot to enjoy the Keough Hot Springs for free in the wild and visit the Bitterbrush campground area and bristlecone pine 4000 year old trees. Paul even invited me to a local Pauite ceremony which was a special once in a lifetime experience. I’m humbly grateful. I look forward to coming back for future retreats.
