A large king size bed and the two-person whirlpool tub will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of shopping and strolling on the main road, stop by one of the three wineries or the brewery all within walking distance of Sandstone Haus. Come back to your suite and slip into one of our custom robes while you fill the whirlpool for a night or relaxation.

Drake House: City View with Private Hot Tub

Welcome to the City View overlooking downtown Dubuque and the Millwork District. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 people and is on the third floor. It is a contemporary styled unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a ready to cook-in kitchen, a dining area, a tv in each bedroom and a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace. Step out on the private back balcony and relax in the private hot tub after a long day of exploring. We hope you enjoy and relax during your stay.

The Retreat

The Retreat at is a completely renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment within a historic building built in 1874. The Retreat occupies the entire second floor of the brick house which was completely renovated in 2014. Located just 1 block from downtown Decorah and in walking distance to many popular restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, boutiques, and beautiful walking/biking trails. Abundant natural light, 10 ft. ceilings, and full of historic charm with modern conveniences.

Cushions Cabins West

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.
