Surrounded by adorable farm animals & nature, you can kick back and enjoy a digital detox, get busy exploring the rail trail or drive to the nearby popular tourist spots such as Fernvale or Twin Bridges. With only 10 mins drive to each Fernvale, Lowood and Marburg, there is plenty of things to see and do. For the outdoor enthusiasts the Brisbane Valley Rail trail and Wivenhoe Dam. Or simply relax and meet our friendly sheep and chickens while cooking up some Brisbane Valley meats on the BBQ!

Kamala Cottage is a cosy 110 year old Railway workers cottage, relocated from Minden .It has been lovingly renovated by the owners, and furnished with antique/ vintage furniture and wares. Original features include the beautiful silky oak windows, and hardwood flooring. It has modern cooking and bathroom facilities . Sited in its own private bush garden, including fire pit, away from the main residence. Recently a filming location for the upcoming Rom-com “Love,Wine and Valentine”

This unique place has a style all its own. A lovely garden with hot tub to explore, chickens with fresh eggs on hand, beehives with access to some fresh honey, lovely friendly dogs who will happily enjoy a game of fetch and tug of war. Train station is just a 2 minute walk from the house. Across the road you have a takeaway shop with great burgers and a little fruit and veg shop with lots of great prices. If you can’t sleep and want a naughty treat the 7/11 is also just across the road.
