Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Ireland

A quirky cottage with loads of rooms and great for a large group. Ray was a great host and very easy to communicate with. The location was great for us as we were exploring a few different spots around Athenry for day trips, the motorway makes connections around the region very easy. We would certainly come back to Ray's place if we were to come back to the Athenry/Galway area.

Ray’s home is lovely, clean and has a unique charm to it. It’s walking distance to the train station and bus stop and downtown shopping and restaurants. Galway is only a 15 minute train ride away. Ray is an awesome host and was extremely helpful the entire time. He and his dog and cat made us feel welcome from the very beginning. He gave us good suggestions and answered all our questions promptly. He arranged transportation for some of our daily tours too. We had a wonderful vacation and Ray was instrumental in it.

We had a fantastic stay in Galway. The house was beautiful, and a telemetry minute drive from everything we wanted to see. Ray was as welcoming as could be, and helped us to find the house after we became lost. Kitchen facilities are everything you need while away on vacation, linens were clean and provided in excess, and the whole house was lovely and clean.

This is a great cozy place, decorated like a classic home of the mid 20th century, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It even has a fireplace! It’s in Athenry, with a train station accessible directly from Limerick or Dublin. It’s a 20 min ride to Galway centre. Ray is a nice guy who showed us around when we arrived. We really recommend it

We had a lovely 3nights stay here. Everything was as described. Simon was great! So friendly & helpful! The kids and ourselves loved the ping pong game, found in a box of board games and quizzes! And my daughter loved the swing! Me & my son loved sitting in the corner of the garden in the mornings and enjoy a coffee. Would def recommend Simon & his home 😁

The house was fantastic and suited our group of 14 perfectly. Ray had added a couple of extra beds so that we were all accommodated and the house was the perfect size for us. The village of Maree was very nice and, although it was a bit of a drive from Galway, we found it very accessible, both by minibus during the day and via taxi late at night. The house was well-equipped and had plenty of space. Thanks Ray!
