Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Isiolo County

Loved my stay. Steve was super friendly and accommodating. Always ready to help and gave good recommendations on places to visit during my stay. The garden and fireplace were what I loved most about the accommodation space ... I had really missed walking on grass :-D Steve's Cottage is the perfect gateway for a quiet and cosy weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Himani’s! The house was spacious and comfortably accommodated our big group. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, offering a true escape into nature. We were thrilled to see monkeys, warthogs, antelopes, and zebras grazing right outside the house—it was such a special and unforgettable experience. A big shoutout to Mary, the househelp, who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we’d definitely love to return!

The Landing is an exquisite haven of tranquility and privacy. The photos simply cannot capture its true beauty. From the cottage, you’re treated to stunning views of Mt. Kenya, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The place was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. I enjoyed a truly wonderful weekend and will definetly return. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating, addressing all our needs seamlessly. The staff was also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that every request was met. A beautiful place for sure and worth the experience.

River Run House is beautiful, Sarah was a great host and the staff on site were helpful. The place is brand new but already feels cozy and is tastefully appointed. Beautiful views from the balcony and rooftop and the pool is perfect for cooling off. We visited one of the recommended restaurants in Nanyuki and had a great stay overall. Recommend River Run house as a place to unwind and spend quality time with family or friends.

With everything so perfect and everyone so friendly/helpful, it always feels like coming back home.

Highly recommend staying at Solio Gardens. House was lovely and spacious and beautifully clean. Beds were comfy and showers hot! Our children enjoyed the pool table and space in the garden to play football. We were a party of 11 and self catered. Kitchen was basic but fine to cook simple meals. We were confused by the location of the property as the map is inaccurate but Alex explained exact location (near the airstrip in Nanyuki) before we set off. We went to Ol Peteja Conservancy (a 45 minute drive away) which was awesome as you see so many animals. Would stay here again.

Quiet place , was bummed out there was no nearby shop

Kevin's place is actually his mother Judy's place, as the title already gives away. Judy makes sure everything is arranged well due to her strong communication. Furthermore, she is a lovely host and she has a great cook (also a very nice lady). On top of clean and quiet rooms with en suite bathrooms she provides: Making the room every day; Free breakfast included; Fresh drinking water; and By request evening meals (not free) I'll be back!

Wow where to start. Misbah was a great host- very responsive, gave adequate information and was very pleasant. The house, looks even better than in the photos, the service was good from Carole and the food from Stanely was stellar. All were very professional and pleasant to be around. We really enjoyed the game drive, we saw all of the big 5 - with exception of the cheetah. Of course plenty gazelles, warthogs, zebras, oh and the beautiful giraffes. The chimps too were great to see. It’s a great destination for all the kids and adults too. Will definitely come back

Beautiful home in lovely surroundings. The chef and caretaker was extremely kind and thoughtful and the food was amazing! We had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to be back!

The house was really beautiful. It resembles a Spanish villa with the beautiful Mt Kenya as the backdrop. The staff were amazing, helped us from the moment we got in. Celestite, Jackson and Ephantus really looked after our every need. The food prepared was excellent and thoughtful. The swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor fireplace under the stars gave us a magical evening. The sundowner deck on top of the house gave us some beautiful sunsets. Our dogs enjoyed it, just a note, this is around farmland and there are plenty of ticks on the farm animals around, so just beware and ensure your dog is up to date on their flea and tick medicine before coming here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it highly.

The place definitely gets 5 stars for the comfortable furniture, the rooms are private and the staff were very friendly. The location is also amazing and central, right within Nanyuki town. The room was clean and spotless and the service was excellent. We were here for 2 nights and the room was cleaned for us on the second day which is exceptional. We look forward to coming back.
