Holiday rentals with a kayak in Island Park

we enjoyed the welcome snack basket and bottled water in the refrigerator. We also liked the hot tub. There were 4 big bedrooms. Everything was clean. We appreciated the art work on the walls. We had a pleasant stay.

We truly loved our stay at Leigh Creek Lodge! Matt and Lydia were beyond accommodating and we had so much fun in the beautiful surroundings. The Lodge is large and very well equipped for any group. The various areas to gather in the lodge, inside and outside, were so nice. The accommodations for dogs were also wonderful. Thank you Matt for going above and beyond to host us!

Her gracious policy of “use whatever food is there [including dozens of spices]” and “leave what you had not used” helped us plan grocery purchases and facilitated our easy exit. Her family’s spacious Henry Lake cabin accommodated our family reunion very well. The four teenagers were happy to have their exclusive place on the lower level. Grandparents were delighted with their main level bedroom and adjoining bathroom and the three adult couples managed very well on the upper level with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everyone agreed that their beds were comfortable. Some enjoyed using kayaks. Because of the dry weather and increased potential of forest fires, we did not use the fire pit.

A perfect family getaway! Alicia and Jason’s riverside chalet is spacious, beautifully maintained, and packed with thoughtful amenities. From a theater room, movie collection, foosball, and dart games to a fully stocked kitchen and toys for kids — there’s something for everyone. The home is newly built (2021), spotless, and super comfortable. The master bedroom with Alicia’s art and the stunning bathroom was a favorite! Our group of 12, including kids and elderly parents, felt completely at home. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and genuine — even refunding one night due to an unforeseen overlap with cleaning. There’s so much to enjoy on the property, 2 days weren’t enough. Tip: if you want to use the hot tub, start heating it early — it can take up to 12 hours. If you're visiting Yellowstone, this place is a gem — about an hour from the West Gate, but worth every mile. It’s peaceful, kid-friendly, and perfect for making memories. Highly recommended!

There is absolutely no question why every review has been 5 stars. We had an incredible experience. My 3 boys had a blast with the animals and the trampoline. The views are unreal and we sat on the front porch taking those in so much! Bruce and Christy were the kindest hosts and were so accommodating and helpful! We loved our time here and were sad when our 4 night stay came to an end. Would 10000% recommend this to anyone. Do not hesitate, book it and you won’t regret it!

Cindy has been wonderful host for us. her response to questions were very quick and gives good recommendations of places. She is excellent in her communications. house was spacious for big family group with lots of beds. good decent backyard with good play structure. its 1.5 hr from both yellowstone west and south entrance.

Just left from a full week at this property. Was everything we wanted in a stay. The hosts were quiet and friendly. Loved their dogs and even a wandering neighborhood dog " Hank " was awesome. The property is VERY clean and well maintained. If you have lil one they have a pond with a swing, dock and paddle boat. Also perfect central location for Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Would not blink an eye to stay here again. The price, location and property was all my family were looking for.

Patty’s cabin was a beautiful base from which to explore Island Park and West Yellowstone. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We would recommend it!

The little chalet was very cozy, clean, and comfortable, and it was anything but small. It was a great place to return to after long days in Yellowstone. We loved the hot tub and the luxuries of what felt like a full sized house!

We had a lovely stay with our five children ages 6-14. We kayaked and paddle boarded on the river, the kids enjoyed the swings and the tether ball and it was a really beautiful 30 minute drive to the West Yellowstone entrance when we wanted to do a Yellowstone day. It was a peaceful and well stocked retreat for our family. We would stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the busy tourist locations in Yellowstone and enjoy the wilderness but still have quick access to the national park.

We had a great time there. Kendra and Mark are super helpful and proactive in addressing our requests or questions. We had memorable experiences staying there, exploring Cliff Lake, and riding the boat.

Amazing accommodations. Interior was thoughtfully stocked, and clean. The place is tricky to locate in the neighborhood. All one has to do is keep going down the road till the end (at least till new construction happens). The property outside was a bit messy - trash strewn around in the fire pit and wrappers around.

We thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home full of character while we stayed a few nights to travel to and from Yellowstone National Park (about 20 minutes away). Our large family fit comfortably, everything was clean, the kitchen is well-supplied, and there are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of trees and birds. We even saw a moose in the back yard! The favorite feature, though, may be the double laundry- two washers and two dryers!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was in a perfect location on the lake and had plenty of room for our big group of 2 families and friends. The sunsets were spectacular and it had all the amenities and items we needed to cook and enjoy our time together. Highly recommend.

The cabin was 13 miles from the main road, and service was spotty so definitely print off the directions from the listing and trust the process. There was a spot in the road with large rocks and you had to drive very slowly to navigate through them. The cabin was clean, cute and comfortable and well off the beaten path which is what we wanted. Loved the fire pit. Enjoyed our time there.
