Escape to simple luxe; a unique vintage haven

Stunning property, perfect location for the Forest and Mull of Galloway. We are regular visitors to the area. Catherine’s place has just gone straight to the top of places I will book if it’s free.

A delightful property that met all our needs. Wonderful view of harbour, and rooms thoughtfully designed and furnished to make the most of this. Helpful owner — nothing too much trouble. Comfortable, well equipped and utterly peaceful. Not to mention high quality cafe downstairs.

Charming Galloway cottage - beaches & walks nearby

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Charles was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to accommodate for our family. He has brilliant local recommendations and a very helpful website. Burnside is a beautiful, secluded cottage with everything you could need. Lots of wildlife to be spotted in the garden and surrounding fields and close to many amazing places with countless things to see and do! Can’t wait to return again on our next trip to Scotland. Thank you Charles ✨

Gorgeous 3 BR Cottage with Outstanding Sea Views

AliceRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Our second family holiday in this beautiful cottage - very clean and spacious for a family of 4 (and a dog) but still feels cosy too. Such a peaceful spot and such a treat to wake up to views across the harbour. Fantastic hosts who provide great info and a fantastic service. Isle of Whithorn is a magical spot which we’ll keep coming back to, and we’ll hopefully stay in Colebrook Cottage again. Thank you!

Galloway Farmstay Broughton

SamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a really lovely stay in Lynnes's cottage. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and our boys really enjoyed playing in the garden and watching the cows in the fields nearby. For whisky lovers (like myself) Bladnoch distillery is 15 minutes drive away and well worth a visit whilst if walking or mountain biking is more your thing, then Galloway Forest Park is only 25/30 minutes away. As a host, Lynne was very friendly and responsive.
