Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Islington

It was a beautiful home and the communication from the start of the booking until the end of our trip was excellent. We had a slight difficulty with the key code box but Oliver was at hand straight away to come and resolve the issue for us. We would definitely recommend and we would be back if we were to go to an event at Emirates Stadium in the future

Rustig plek en hele vriendelijke eigenaren. Metro station is op loopafstand ( 10 min). Centrum van London is bereikbaar met metro ( treinen) binnen 10/15 min.

Neil is an outstanding host! He went above and beyond by kindly allowing me to check in early, which made my arrival incredibly smooth and stress-free. His communication was prompt, and he offered fantastic local advice especially regarding transport options. Helpful, flexible, and genuinely thoughtful. I would certainly endorse all the positive comments from previous reviews that add up to Simona being rated a super host. Very happy with my week's stay. Simona is a very chatty, naturally welcoming host whose company I very much enjoyed. The room I had was small but all that I needed for somewhere to sleep after spending most of the time out-and-about in London, while Simona's house is a well-lived in, homely space in a great location. It might come with the odd creak and groan from the floorboards and plumbing, but, hey, welcome to 'Wimpy/Barrett Britain!' Ultimately, it's the human touches that make travelling so compelling and I look forward to sharing a plate of pasta with Simona when next in Wapping. That's dependant on availability of course - there's good reason why Simona's is usually booked-up far in advance. Glad for having had this chance for an introduction. Cheers!

Josephine and her son were really welcoming. She shared a lot of useful information for my travels and looked after me during my stay. She also gave me some enough privacy. I'm really enjoying my time here.

I was aprehensive about staying with a host for the first time but this was a great experience. Josephine was very friendly, you have your own private space in a very peaceful house located in the heart of Dalston right off the high street. Everything was spotlessly clean with the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in. Would book again.

100% recommend this place! I spent 3 months here and felt right at home. It is a small place, best suitable for one person but could probably work out for a couple. The location is perfect, you can walk to most places and have everything you need nearby. The view from the apartment is amazing and so enjoyable. The host is extremely friendly and helpful :) A bit pricey, but you pay for the location, which is really worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was bright and modern, with a warm, cozy atmosphere , exactly as shown in the pictures. The location was perfect – right by the canal and very central. Both the bus stop and the subway station were just a few minutes' walk away, which made getting around super easy. Perfect for our London trip! Monique was incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond and very accommodating. Highly recommended! :)

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is as beautiful and cozy as it looks in the listing. Quality stuff, too (appliances, furniture, etc). The location is great. There's tons to do in the area—from restaurants and bakeries to shopping and walking the canal—but it's also really convenient to central London. It's on a quiet street that's just a block off one main thoroughfare and a couple blocks from another. Kelli was super responsive, kindly accommodated an early checkin and late checkout, and sent along a local guide with lots of great recs we used and would definitely do again. Would absolutely stay here again.

I loved the location. It’s a few minutes walking to cafes and restaurants. I absolutely love the neighborhood. The host was responsive and accommodating.

Neil's place was in a perfect location. Really near several tubes, so very well connected. It was great being so close to the canal and lots of places for coffee and dinner. Neil allowed us to check in and out at a time flexible for us which was great. Would really recommend!

Very comfortable for three. A big bedroom, a 65 square foot bathroom!!!, and a large living room with kitchen. Sofa bed for two in the living room. Water pressure in bathroom very good. Refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher provided, with Disney, Netflix and Amazon Prime already available on smart TV. The flat is 10 minutes walking distance to two bus stops offering different lines, and probably 15 minutes to Angel station. There are excellent cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk. There is a breakfast place 100 metres away with good service and great food. A mini market is about 150 metres away. Sainsbury’s and Coop are under a 15 minute walk. A large curved monitor, mouse and connections are all available in the work area. Plug in your laptop and you are all set. Michael responded very quickly to all questions. Excellent place in an excellent location, supported by a very good host. This is definitely the first place we will select when we are in London!

One of my favorite airbnbs ever! A great place to stay if you want to feel like a local. We were obsessed with overlooking the canal and sitting at cafes on the water. The place itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a longer stay, including a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. We didn’t want to leave!

Really easy to access. All the informations given where super detailed. The studio flat itself has planty of space. We found more than anything we would possibly need during our stay. The host replied really quickly to my question and was friendly and kind. Loved the area, especially because it’s right in between Islington and Shoreditch and good for trandports.

Nicole's apartment is a great place to stay. The location is lively with lots of restaurants around the corner but also very quiet at night. I recommend staying in the apartment of Nicole. She is also very nice to communicate with and responds very quickly

Sharon’s place is adorable - a lovely English flat, outside of the hustle and bustle of London, in a residential neighborhood. My favorite part of her place is her back yard - it’s like a slice of garden heaven in the middle of town. A pond, beautiful flowers; it was lovely just sitting out in her yard taking in the sun (when it wasn’t raining ;)). Entertained daily by magpies and foxes. This flat is just for one person as there is only a twin bed, but her flat is roomy and the kitchen can’t be beat! Sharon was a great communicator and checked in to make sure I was doing okay and was always responsive if I needed anything. Great place to unwind after being on the road. Thank you, Sharon!

Johnny was amazing from the beginning! He helped me with my suitcases to the flat, and even helped us with finding a car space as I had just done a big move from NZ. His place was super clean, had everything and in such a nice area of Islington! The flat was also very secure with a fob into the building and camera to dial in deliveries. Buses were convenient, the tube was a 10 min walk to Canonbary, it was in an ideal area in going into Central London, and it was a bonus that he had amazing amenitites i.e. microwave oven, surroun sound Bluetooth speakers, airplay and adjustable lighting for the evenings. It made my stay and moving over to the UK so seamless. Johnny was super friendly and also provided local recommendations. Overall, 10/10 stay and place! Such a warm, nicely refurbished home. I highely recommend Johnny's place - he is super responsive, kind and such an amazing host!! Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was every bit as good as the first. The accommodation is clean, spacious and perfect for our 3 night stay. Its location is perfect for accessing the local restaurants and nightlife, of which there is an abundance. It is also walkable to the centre of London and all of its attractions. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Frank's place was great. The location is only a short walk to everything in Kings Cross; restaurants, bars, groceries, outdoor activities, and of course the Kings Cross station where you can easily get to virtually anywhere in London and beyond. The only small criticism we have is that the hottub was in need of maintenance so we were not able to use it which ended up being ok since we had so many other things to do while we were there.

I loved staying at Francine’s apartment, enjoying the lovely terrace in the sun and the peaceful atmosphere of her space. Would definitely recommend!
