Szarewood is a 19th-century cottage at the end of the road in the village of Szare, in a quiet area close to the forest, with a murmuring stream in the background. There are only two houses in the immediate vicinity, so you are more likely to meet roe deer and deer at the fence than people :) We arranged the house with early retirement in mind. However, life has changed our plans, so we want to give others a chance to feel the freedom that this place gives. If you are looking for peace and quiet and like contact with nature, this is the perfect place for you.

A fairytale cabin at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level with a picturesque view of the nearby mountains. The cottage is 50 square meters. On the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom. Upstairs on the mezzanine, there is a large double bed and a couch. There are two TVs in the cottage. STARLINK internet is available in the facility. Please read the House Rules. The offer applies to the price for the cottage. We invite you to a beautiful wooden house with an outdoor glass sauna overlooking the forest and a hot tub where you can regenerate. (note: in winter, in the case of cold conditions, we reserve the possibility of temporarily turning off the hot tub from use). In the house 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. In winter, we offer 2 cool ski slopes nearby: Zagroń and Golden Groń. And a great ski resort in Szczyrk is 45 minutes away. IMPORTANT: It's a good idea to bring chains in the winter for safety.

The cottage is located in Stryszów, close to Krakow (1h), Wadowic (15min), Oświęcimia (45min) and Zakopane (1h30min).

To save money on hotels, I renovated in 2012 the second apartment in the basement of our house to offer accommodation to artists and performers coming to Stanica & Nová synagóga art centres where I work. When it is free, travelers and tourists are welcome. We are in the town centre, in great neighborhood called Mala Praha (Little Prague), close to everything and quiet in the same time. I really like hosting guests.
