Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. I recommend to any couple who likes to hike and have a private place stay.

Beautiful place! Second time I’ve stayed and they are always super friendly! They make sure you aren’t having any issues especially if there is any change in the weather.

We stayed here for one night to break up a long road trip home, and I could not have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin is beautifully designed and tucked away in the woods, making it the perfect place to unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the decor was charming and thoughtful, and everything was spotless and well-stocked. We enjoyed a short nature walk around the property and soaked in the hot tub on the deck—such a treat after a day of driving. This place is a true gem, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in need of a restful escape.

The cabin is a perfect weekend getaway and the setup is perfect for a couple or a girls weekend. Very comfy and tastefully decorated. Loved all of the nature touches throughout including the wall art. Kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill was in excellent condition. Communication was fabulous!

This beautiful place exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and more. My husband and I enjoyed slow mornings sipping coffee on the front porch and peaceful evenings in the hot tub. We hiked many great trails at multiple parks nearby. We appreciated the host’s attention to detail. The cabin had many nice little touches and the design was well thought out with high-quality furnishings and decor. It was such a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the woods.

What an amazing stay we had at Wistful Cabin!!! The cabin is privately located right next to the beautiful of Shawnee National Forest. We enjoyed the hike in the trail with our dog, just a few steps away from the cabin. The cabin itself is so clean and comfortable. Jess and Brian have the cabin fully socked with every single thing you could possibly need- from a heated hot tub and robes to wear after, a pristine propane grill, comfortable fire pit, an organized kitchen with a variety of food seasonings and every type of appliance you could need to prepare any kind of food. Jess is extremely hospitable and remained quickly responsive. We truly enjoyed our relaxing time there and cannot wait to go back. Pick this listing- you will have an incredible time!

The cabin is even better than the pictures show! Check in was fairly easy, the only issue was that the listing didn't specify what cabin we booked, but it wasn't hard to figure out. We had a blast exploring the property and it was the perfect place for a girls weeknd!

Larry was very responsive and accommodating. Checked to make sure we were able to get in and that our stay was going smoothly. Everything was as described with special touches added to make sure we felt right at home during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised when Larry’s wife dropped off a delicious fresh baked good. We will definitely be staying with them again.

Just a few words about this amazing cabin after our 7-day stay. My wife, our doggo and I stayed at the Hartline cabin and found the cabin to be meticulously clean, well-stocked and absolutely gorgeous! During the stay, we made a request to the owners and albeit a minor ask, Allison responded quickly (within seconds actually), and our request was handled right then and there. A few things one may consider if thinking about staying at this cabin. Although this place is fully capable of housing a larger group, the way in which this cabin is designed perfect for smaller groups as well. This cabin is large; however, make no mistake this place is intimate and perfect for a couple and a doggo!! The topography of this property, when viewed from Google Earth, appears flat, but this is far from reality. This property is set within rolling lush green hills with a 360-degree view and is very, very peaceful. We will be returning and may rent a golf cart next time!!

They were so amazing! We decided to come a day early due to weather forecast and they made the accommodations and of course as the weekend progressed it cleared up and we decided to stay an extra day and they accommodated that as well! It was super clean and our dogs loved the room to run and play outside! Such a cute quiet area, we will definitely be back!!

This is the best Airbnb' we have stayed at in a long time. It was so peaceful and felt very private. This is a great place to have a romantic getaway. I love that its close to town too.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet close enough to explore local the local wineries, restaurants, and shops. We especially loved relaxing on the patio in the evenings, soaking in the view and enjoying the quiet. Our host was outstanding—responsive, kind, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. He even came by to help with the TV when we couldn't get it to work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay!

I was blown away by this location! It's perfectly private and gorgeous, and the deck space and fire patio made for an awesome way to chill with our friends and food! We planned to cut costs by making all our meals, and the kitchen spaces perfectly accommodated that (and even came equipped with some extra amenities we hadn't brought like ketchup, mustard, coffee stuff, etc) which saved us that extra on our quick grocery stop! We were all happy with the Wii and board games, the garage as well! The rooms were super tidy and comfortable, as were the bathrooms and really everything! Lots of space inside, well air-conditioned during 80-90s, and stay-in time was just as memorable as trips out, and that last night we all really didn't want the trip to end haha! And of course, Nikki was super responsive and helpful from the very beginning to the very end, I couldn't ask for a better host! By far the most memorable airbnb stay I've had, would love to stay again!

My wife and i were here for a short getaway. Wanted a private and quiet place and Phillip’s cabin is just that! Enjoyed the outdoors and peaceful surroundings they developed on this property. Cabin was great. A ton of attention to detail when this place was built. All around perfect quick getaway for my wife and i. Definitely recommend Phillip’s cabin if you want to get away from the day to day life and unplug.

We truly enjoyed the stay at Blackjack vineyard. My favorite part was sitting in the back porch, enjoying the beautiful vineyard and watching various birds/squirrels playing on top of the trees. It was so peaceful. The house was clean, comfortable, and homey! Peter was a great host welcoming us warmly. Will definitely come back in the future!

We were surprised by the amenities and care that Mary took to get the place ready for our stay. She had all the essentials in case you missed packing something and more. She was very responsive when we asked for dinner recommendations. The cabin is right at the entrance to Godwin trail and 1.5 miles from the cross. It is walking distance to the cross as well.

Wonderful weekend getaway for us. Just the right-size cabin for two people. Always very clean (this was our third visit). Whenever we plan on visiting the area, the first place we always look to stay is Ma's cabin. Highly recommend.

We felt the cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the decor and the ability to cook out and even a day of just hanging out at the cabin when weather did not cooperate.

Lovely, comfortable space. Very clean. The deck with the hot tub felt like a tree house. So peaceful and just what I needed to relax for a few days.
