Susan was very polite. She was very helpful with any needs we may have had. When we are in Kansas City again, we will definitely consider staying here if it's available. 🙂

The space was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies to cook with and the bed was very comfy! The location was perfect, in a very nice neighborhood, and very easy to get around town! We loved our stay!

I thought this place was wonderful. Nestled in the hills of Missouri, the views were breathtaking. Getting there was simple, and I opted to eat dinner at Elements Destination Restaurant, which was a stone’s throw from this place. A must stop if you stay here. Local deliciousness. I was charmed by Lizzy, the cute dog that lives with Dave and Belinda, and the hosts were very friendly and gracious. The hot shower was a bonus after 3 days on the road, and I enjoyed walking up the hill to the cemetery dating back to the 1700’s and meandering around the property. This place has the best sunsets, the coziest sleep, and a simple charm that can’t be overlooked. I loved my stay and it was perfect for what I needed passing through Missouri. So glad I chose this spot. It really was one of my favs on my journey back to the west coast.

Merrily's home is exactly like the pictures. Very quiet, clean and had everything we needed. She was proactive in all her communication we actually didn't have to ask for a thing. We were only there for a long weekend, but she was so thoughtful in leaving some fruit on the counter and a few things in the frig for the morning, so we didn't have to run to the store right away. We would highly recommend her as a host.

Jana is a great host! Her place was clean and well furnished. We felt right at home. She was very responsive to my questions and very helpful. It’s a very safe neighborhood and we felt comfortable staying there while we were in town for a wedding. Felt like we had everything we needed.

The place was clean, calm, and just wonderful. We went right before Christmas and ms. Deb had put up a Christmas tree and that was wonderful because we were going to be opening gifts and it just set the mood right for my family. It’s those small touches that made this location stand out. Would highly recommend and I plan on staying again soon!

I felt right at home the very moment I checked in. Brendon was very responsive and was quick to address them. The serene environment is absolutely a deal for travelers looking some peace and quiet. Definitely a home away from home.

Great cozy single bedroom stay in Grandview if youre looking for an extended stay right outside downtown KC. Chris is a very helpful & attentive host. I definitely would love to be able to stay again & I recommend to anyone else looking for a nice affordable private nook to stay in. I just want to say thank you again to Chris for being so gracious with his property & hospitable in the way he treats his guests. Look forward to coming back to KC soon :)

This place was very clean and comfortable and convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay. The TV was a little tricky to stay connected but we felt that all around town. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Chad & Christina are one phenomenal hosting couple. They made me feel right at home, responsive and flexible. That bed was a bomb with the memory foam soothing my body. The cleanliness was on point. Your kids are adorable! Thanks guys, and I sure will be back again when I'm in town.

Great place to stay in Kansas City! Very clean, spacious, and close to downtown.

This was a cozy and clean space. It was very private and I felt super comfortable. I loved that everything was provided as far as cookware, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent. I felt right at home and could’ve easily stayed for a long time! As other reviews have stated, you can hear the people upstairs and sometimes when you cook the fire alarm goes off. But it’s really not a big deal. I would absolutely stay again!! Highly recommend! It’s really a great home away from home.

Our stay was peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches! The downstairs space was spacious, spotless, and looked brand new—extra blankets, stacked towels, beach towels, and even a relaxing steam room made it feel like a retreat. Lonnie was so kind—she gave my daughter food to feed the goats and the girls food for the koi fish, which was magical to watch! The scenery was breathtaking, with gorgeous hiking trails and adorable animals. Though there was a double-booking, Lonnie generously refunded us and let us leave early, which we deeply appreciated. Communication was a bit delayed, so I recommend bringing your own lighter, and requesting wood before hand and clarifying who’s staff vs. other guests. If you’re sensitive to diverse beliefs, know this space honors multiple paths. Overall, a truly special stay—we left refreshed and full of beautiful memories! The donkeys are hilarious and the goats so cute! We loved that they just hang out in the property and you can pet them!

Very cozy, convenient location and great service.

We stayed at Lisa’s one night and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice! It is in the basement of an older house with people living in it so there’s noise above you. But it has a nice side entrance on the side of the house. Bathroom door did not latch. Would stay here again as long as it’s just me and my wife. Probably wouldn’t bring kids.

This home was such a beautiful space in a great environment from the walk in all the way to the beautiful view on the patio. My partner and I were welcomed by the house manager Carletta who was overall a really great host to have, she did her absolutely best at accommodating for us as needed. Our communication started off a little rocky but with the openness on both of our ends we were able to both touch one another’s hearts and be clear. I’m grateful to have had someone like her as a host because she was very transparent from the beginning and wanted the best for everyone involved. Anytime she saw one of us she asked how we were doing, if there was anything we needed, took her time out of her day to go buy things for the kitchen area, tv remote and etc. We learned a lot from just this experience alone booking with this host. She respected our space and asked if she could enter when she needed which was personally important to me. We hope to book again in the future!

We enjoyed our short stay at this studio apartment! We did have a 2 small hiccups, but the host responded quickly and we were able to get our issues resolved. The place was very clean and cozy. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be to have wood available for the fireplace. For anyone looking to book but wary about the noise level because it's a basement, the noise was very minimal and it was not creepy down there at all! You get so much natural light, you forget it's a basement. Thank you again for hosting us.

We had to attend a wedding with our two boys in the small town but didn’t want to stay at a hotel. In a place with few options, we found this place. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend the place.

Havah's place has been a gem. It's probably my favorite property we've stayed at, and everything was convenient and as-described. Can't recommend this place enough!
