Holiday rentals with breakfast in Jaco

Casa Caladium es un lugar súper tranquilo, Enmanuel y Dunia fueron muy atentos, siempre dispuestos a colaborar, tienen un jardín muy bonito, con muchos árboles frutales, además es una entrada privada, me sentí como en casa estando acá. Sin duda volvería. Muchas gracias 😊

The house is beautiful and very nice, an absolute pleasure. It was a bit far away from Jacó, which is what I was going for since I wanted the opportunity to view wildlife. There is a bus stop at the end of the road, which is walkable if you are fit. Uber costs about $7.00 to downtown. The host was nice and reasonable. However, I did have to request directions the morning of check-in, instead of receiving them automatically. And I received a message after 4:00 pm (check-in time) available for early check-in. It would have been nice to know we could check-in early because we took the bus to downtown Jacó with our backpacks and had to walk around and go to dinner with our stuff instead of being able to drop it off at the house first. The host also recommended that we go to a nearby river and pack a picnic because the river is beautiful. But it was only a dry riverbed. This made me think that the host isn't local and doesn't know the area. Also the stove did not work, so we could not cook.

I stayed there a few days to visit friends in Atenas, an i enjoyed the pool. Jerry is a good host, i would stay there again.

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

La casa estaba ordenada y limpia, muy cómoda y segura. Don Gerardo fue muy amable también.

Nous avons séjourner qu’une nuit car nous etions en transition. Le logement est ok pour le prix demandé. Mais disons que je ne passerais pas des vacances a cet endroit mais cest super pour couper la route entre deux destinations. Lilliam est tres gentille et repond tres rapidement. Villa Alta has the most remarkable hosts and is a very spacious, clean, and inviting home! This home is in a very quiet neighborhood, and yes there are lots of dogs at all the homes, but I never heard them when I was sleeping. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the bay, you can sometimes hear the mono congos in the nearby forest when you sit on the deck, which I did often, enjoying the cool breeze or the rain falling. I would suggest you have a vehicle as it is not easy to get to a market or the nearby towns, which have some interesting history and sometimes shows. Hope you catch the local dancing demonstrations in Esparza! I will return if just even to visit with Jose and Leda, who everyone should take time to get to know! Best examples of Pura Vida!

El lugar es muy espacioso y cómodo, las instalaciones están muy bien. La limpieza también muy bien

This place is so special!! Wonderful hosts, gorgeous nature/property. We did the bioluminescent kayak tour and it was so magical - don’t skip it! Hosts were super communicative and helpful in our getting there, and made it so easy to arrange the tour and the breakfast add-ons. They recommended a walkable dinner spot for us that blew our minds it was so great. The unit is so cute and rustic in the best way, with the most incredible view. The steps down to the water and hangout/breakfast area are no joke, so definitely make sure you are prepared to go up them at least 1x per day.

This is a wonderful apartment. The huge terrace is a gem, as it offers a nice view. You can lay on the sunbeds and see many birds flying around. Claudine is a nice person, and her breakfasts are delicious. It is a great place to stay if you want to see the Carara National Park and take one of the crocodile tours.

Anna and Michael were phenomenal hosts and so welcoming! We are so happy we started our trip with them. They provided great tips about traveling around Costa Rica and we learned so much. Chef Michael’s food and margaritas were outstanding!! Highly recommend the pork loin and fresh catch. Their private patio provided a great atmosphere for wildlife and peaceful vibes!! Pura vida

Ya nos habíamos quedado con anterioridad y volvimos porque un lugar muy tranquilo y bonito, lo recomiendo!

Sweet family, awesome breakfast, very good communication, helpful and assertive, cutest dog, beautiful view, quiet area. It’s perfect for one person to retreat, if you don’t need fast wifi. You get hot food and basic groceries at the village. Busses are running to Atenas. Gabriel will help you with anything you need, they all speak very good English and like to chat.

Claudine is a sweet soul. She was very kind. She met us outside of the property as we arrived after dark. She showed us to our room. She invited us to breakfast in the am and we took her up on it. Such a beautiful setting and yummy breakfast she prepared. We loved the place and Claudine! Great stay!

This place is so beautiful. The room was gorgeous, the whole place was clean, the pool was perfect after hiking or to simple relax by, and the hosts were very friendly. We felt very safe and the outdoor wall of the home says The Orchid Tree so it's easy to spot (you'll still need GPS or Waze to drive in Costa Rica as there are no street signs).
