Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Jan Thiel

My stay at this villa was everything i expected and more! The hosts were very helpful and responsive since day one of booking the stay. Definitely would recommend this villa for first time travelers visiting the island. The property itself is beyond beautiful and very well maintained. 10/10 !!

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze Airbnb! De locatie is echt perfect, centraal gelegen en makkelijk bereikbaar. Het appartement zelf was netjes, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wouter was ontzettend behulpzaam en stond altijd klaar om vragen te beantwoorden of tips te geven. Zijn gastvrijheid maakte het verblijf nog aangenamer. Zeker een aanrader voor wie een fijne plek zoekt in de buurt!

Villa Hammaka exceeded our expectations. We chose this location for our Honeymoon. We were warmly greeted at the airport and taken to the home. On the way she shared many recommendations which we appreciated. We rented her car and boat, both in great condition. The home was very private and peaceful. You did need a car to get around. We loved the grilling area and enjoyed this several nights. The AC in the room was very cold in the evening, and the hot water was almost instant! Sink water is also safe to drink on this island! The bay area was also swimmable and very nice after a long day. We highly recommend this location, host, and home.

Foi minha segunda experiência e depois de um ano e oito meses, a casa está precisando de alguns cuidados - como a tela nas janelas para mosquitos e o chuveiro precisando de vedação. Mas apesar disso, estava tudo muito bom, a cozinha é bem completa, a localização é nossa preferida e a piscina é o melhor lugar para assistir ao por do sol. É nossa casa fora de casa!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in Roses und Valerys Haus. Das Haus mit Pool ist einfach toll und hat einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer inklusive wunderschöner Sonnenuntergänge. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet (tolle Küche!) und wie beschrieben und hat alles was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Ab und an haben wir auch auf der Terrasse gegrillt, ein sehr schöner Tagesabschluss. Der Kontakt zu Valery war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfreich, wir haben uns hier wirklich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Valery gab viele Tipps für die Umgebung und war kurzfristig bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wenn es nochmal Curacao wird, würden wir gerne in dieses Haus zurückkehren.

Everything was great! The hosts were great communicating and checking in on us throughout our stay. They also gave us a ton of reccomendations. The location is amazing for exploring the town and different restaurants/beach clubs. It is within walking distance to a ton of places. Its right in the center of the island as well so its super quick driving to any side of the island etc. The only recommendation I have is to get some good bug spray. You want to leave the doors/windows open for airflow and the mosquito's were really bad when we went (which I have that issue in general, they just eat me up, my husband didn't get bit too badly) but I would reccomend getting some sort of mosquito repellent or bug catcher bags etc. to place in the house. The bedroom has the A/C unit, we were very comfortable sleeping at night. It was a great experience overall!! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a more local feel/vibe for your stay!

Jeroen foi um anfitrião muito prestativo e de fácil comunicação. A casa está situada em uma rua tranquila e silenciosa e com bons supermercados nos arredores. O espaço estava limpo e a internet e o ar condicionado funcionaram bem.

Exactly as pictured! This home has everything you’ll need for your vacation. Beautiful home and best location in Jan Thiel! 2 min walk to the Supermarket and less than 5 mins to the beach/restaurants. Thibault & Ashley were extremely helpful and always very responsive. 5 STARS!!!!

Todo excelente. Hermoso depto, amplio, buena limpieza y muy tranquilo. Recomiendo y volvería a ir!

Tivemos uma excelente estadia! O espaço é amplo, bem equipado e muito confortável, superando nossas expectativas. A anfitriã, Martina, foi extremamente atenciosa e prestativa durante toda a hospedagem, sempre pronta para esclarecer dúvidas e oferecer ótimas dicas locais. A localização é excelente: uma região segura, tranquila e com vizinhança agradável. Além disso, considerando que em Curaçao o aluguel de carro é aconselhável, o imóvel está estrategicamente posicionado, facilitando o acesso às principais praias e atrações da ilha. Sem dúvida, uma das melhores hospedagens em que já ficamos — saímos muito satisfeitos e gratos por essa experiência!

Beste Fulvia, Bedankt voor alle goede zorgen. Ik ben zeer tevreden met uw airbnb! Beschrijving airbnb: Een nette en mooie locatie. Je kan vanuit deze locatie makkelijk naar punda, mambo of pietermaai terecht. Er is een airco en een ventilator aanwezig. Hierdoor zal je geen last van de warmte hebben. In de avond is er genoeg licht in de buurt. Je kan je auto voor de deur parkeren. Op 3 min afstand(met de auto) is er een supermarkt. Elke ochtend kan je lekkere pastechi, krokket en of loempia kopen. Heerlijk! Ik heb een leuke tijd hier gehad en Fulvia heeft het extra gezellig gemaakt met haar zorgzame, rustig, begripvol en lieve karakter.💖

Geweldig uitzicht op een baai, het is een ruimte maar zeer praktisch ingericht en ruim voldoende voor verblijf. Door het openzetten van de shutters in de ramen hadden we de airconditioning helemaal niet nodig en was het zeer aangenaam in huis. Er wordt ook snel gereageerd op vragen, heel prettig. Kortom, zeer aan te bevelen en vooral het vertrouwen dat geboden wordt is prijzenswaardig.

Esther fue amorosa desde el principio, respondiendo todas las dudas antes de realizar la reserva, nos asesoro para poder realizar alquiler de auto y demas. El marido de Esther fue quien nos recibió (no recuerdo el nombre🤭) a pesar de no hablar el mismo idioma nos logramos entender, muy amable. Respecto a la casa, fue tal cual las fotos, super limpio, utensilios completos, vajilla completa, comodidades tanto dentro, como en el patio de la casa, en donde corre una brisa sumamente necesaria. Ropa de cama, toallas, repasadores, todo en perfectas condiciones. Zona muy tranquila y segura. Realmente recomendable para pasar su estadía en la paradisíaca isla de Curazao. Gracias por hacer hermosa nuestra estadía! 🥰

Ons verblijf was ontzettend fijn. Mooie en veilige locatie met voldoende privacy. Halverwege schoonmaak en schone handdoeken. Vanwege persoonlijke omstandigheden moesten wij iets langer blijven, ook hier werd super mee om gegaan. Dankjewel voor deze geweldige accommodatie.

El alojamiento era idea para nosotros que viajamos con un bebe, aunque no queda en el centro de la ciudad en vehículo es muy fácil llegar, queda cerca a supermercados y lugares necesarios para hacer las compras de los días que estuvimos, Angela estuvo muy atenta a nuestras necesidades y sin duda regresaríamos a este lugar.

Aida’s apartment was a gem! The apt was beautiful and clean, exactly like the photos. Private and quiet location. Aida and her team were responsive and provided great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

Tivemos uma experiência excelente no studio da Valerie em Curaçao! O espaço é muito confortável, limpo e bem equipado, com tudo o que precisávamos durante a nossa viagem. O custo-benefício é ótimo e ainda contamos com um local seguro para guardar o carro alugado. A Valerie foi extremamente atenciosa e gentil em todo o momento, o que fez toda a diferença na nossa estadia. Recomendo a todos que estiverem procurando uma hospedagem prática, aconchegante e com ótimo atendimento em Curaçao!

Wij zijn net terug van een heerlijk verblijf op Curacao. Het appartement van Xavier bevind zich op een beveiligd resort, is ruim en troffen wij schoon aan. Voldoende handdoeken en een wasmachine en droger om ze zelf te kunnen wassen. De bedden zijn stevig maar goed beslaapbaar. De werkplek op de foto’s ontbrak, was voor ons geen probleem maar het viel ons wel op. Wij hebben de wasmachine, droger en oven regelmatig gebruikt, ook de airconditioning iedere nacht aan gehad en (nog)geen rekening gekregen mbt stroomverbruik en water gebruik. Een klein probleempje met een van de toiletten werd zeer snel verholpen. De communicatie ging super vlot.

Nossa estadia com Lise e Cliff foi perfeita! Fomos Muito bem recebidos por eles. A acomodação tem tudo que precisamos, tudo muito limpo, arrumado e novo. Eles Sempre amáveis, gentis, atenciosos e dispostos a ajudar no que precisássemos. A localização é no meio da ilha , o que facilita bastante. Rapidamente de carro fazíamos tudo. Obrigada Lise e Cliff por tudo! Com certeza voltaremos à acomodação de vocês!

Henny hat mir netterweise eine frühere Ankunft und einen late Check-out ermöglicht. Die Kommunikation war immer top, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Studio hat alles, was es braucht, eine gut funktionierende AirCon, warme Dusche und ein bequemes Bett. Ich durfte mir sogar Oregano-Zitronengras-Tee aus dem Garten zubereiten. Fußläufig ist man in ca. 15 Minuten im Zentrum.

Absolutely enjoyed my time staying at Rene and Valerie’s gorgeous Airbnb!! The space was stylish, spotless, & nestled peacefully in Willemstad. I appreciated the artwork to admire, the pool to swim & cool off in after a long day of exploring, and the appliances/seasonings when I wanted to cook or reheat meals. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and protected and Valerie/Rene were always proactive with communication while on the island. My only regret was not staying here longer!!

We loved our stay at Austin’s rental. It was so relaxing and peaceful. It felt like the whole apartment opened right up to the ocean. It was very clean with plenty of amenities. It was within walking distance to a couple nice restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I spend 6 nights at Jessica's place. All had a great time. The apartment was just as advertised and had all of the amenities listed. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The property manager, Saskia, was easy to work with, answered questions for us and even secured taxis to/from the airport. The location of the aprtment cannot be beat. There is a small beach and a pool and it's an easy walk in to the heart of Willemstad. Lots of great restaurants all around aor within short walking distance of the apartment. Jessica was great to deal with as was Saskia. We would defintely stay here again if returning to Curacao!!!
