Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Jefferson County

We loved having such a cool, fun place to stay while we visited Madison and Clifty Falls. Lisa’s place had absolutely everything we needed to make our trip seamless. We were able to walk from the house to the downtown area and along the river and enjoy the charming beauty of this town. Lisa is a very communicative host and really goes out of her way to make you feel right at home. Love that this place was pet friendly and had a fenced in yard for our two dogs. Definitely would come back again!

Me and my son enjoyed our short stay. Kate's home was exactly what we were looking for and had everything we needed. We will be sure to check the availabilty of her home the next time we visit the Madison area. Thanks. -Tony G

Beautiful, clean house. Very comfortable, peaceful surroundings. Snacks when we arrived. We didn’t have time to enjoy eggs and pancakes in the morning - but I appreciate the option. I would stay there again if my travels take me close.

We had a great stay at this cozy little house in Madison! The 2-bedroom space was clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, which was perfect for our trip. It's in a great location—an easy walk to the riverfront, Main Street, and lots of great bars and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient stay in Madison!

Jennifer’s place was a perfect stay for our family of seven. We had a kid with us and one of the rooms upstairs is connected to another room that has a futon. There isn’t a door that separates the two rooms but we were fine with that. It was sunny and nice to be able to sit on the back patio. We rented a golf cart and took that around town (designated areas). The town is very walkable and in the summer months, with everything open, I can imagine it being lively. We took a walk along the Ohio River (which we walked to) and that was nice. Kitchen also had what we needed to make meals. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at the Cozy Couch while in town visiting family. We enjoyed our stay. The home is so beautiful and clean and spacious. We love being able to travel with our dog. And the location allows us to walk everywhere, which we really enjoy. David is super responsive, even when tied up with his own holiday festivities, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to say again.

This home was very cute & felt like home! Sam was so sweet, helpful, and friendly!! We absolutely loved our stay here. The home had everything we needed. Beautiful creek runs in the back yard, and beautiful views all around! Easy to get to, a nice size yard to walk our dogs, and very clean. Quiet setting, was not bothered by any neighbors or noises. Sam was very responsive, and hosted us for a last minute trip, with no issues. This is the perfect home for a get away in Madison. We will definitely be back.

The property was just as described. Super clean, comfy linens and nice fluffy towels. Super spacious and full kitchen. Ice cold air conditioning and oh my goodness… so quiet!! Sat out in the evening and watched the birds and wildlife. I can finally say I now know what is on the other side of that 8 mile fence! I enjoyed checking out some of the old military buildings. Just an FYI… the road back to the property is blacktop and then changes to gravel (short gravel section has some pretty rough pot holes).

Quaint, quiet cottage nestled in the “woods” yet in town, excellent location! The home is comfortable and very cozy, it seemed the host attempted to think of everything you may possibly need during your stay and more. I would definitely rent this again and highly recommend to anyone considering it.

What a great stay! Clean, spacious, private yet right off the darling Main Street. Thoughtful amenities like chips and coffee creamers, water, etc. My dog loved the quiet street and pretty backyard/garden. Hope to visit again!

Highly recommend this rental. The location is great! We gathered for a family get together and it was spacious and comfortable. The history of the building and neighborhood was charming too. Our host made us feel very welcome.

We loved our stay here! The pavilion was the highlight of our time. We spent many nights around the fire taking in the scenery. Unfortunately we got rained out the last few nights, but staying in was cozy and there were cards and a few games provided. Not much to do in Milton, but plenty to do right over the bridge in Madison, IN and in surrounding areas. The hosts seem very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the place was great and met our needs. Appreciated the spaciousness and lack of clutter so we had a place to put our personal things.

We rented this space plus the attached pillow and paddock inn for our entire family and it was awesome! The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The place is fully stocked with everything you need and more. The pigs and horses were also great fun for the kids!

We loved our stay at the Hilltop Dome! It was just the getaway we were looking for! We truly enjoyed this unique experience.

The home was warm, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was spotless upon arrival and thoughtfully arranged—clearly set up with care and attention to detail. Bobbi was incredibly kind and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, even leaving a few special touches that made my grand babies smile. Communication was smooth, and she was always quick to respond to any questions. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, with easy access to a beautiful view, with fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and a relaxing around the fire with family. We made great memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing family-friendly stay

Michelle and Shannon were amazing hosts. Outstanding communication and quick response if we needed anything. The space was extremely clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, and exactly as described and pictured. Plenty to do and see both at the location and in nearby downtown La Grange. I definitely look forward to a return visit.

This was the ideal place for a relaxing few days we needed. Couches and beds were very comfortable, the view from the porch, beautiful, and of course as others have mentioned, great hot tub! The whole place was very clean.

My boyfriend and I decided to escape for our first anniversary, and we are so glad we chose The Loft @ The Farm! Janice and Joe are both so kind and their animals are just as sweet. We really appreciated Joe reaching out before check-in to let us know about a possible detour. Instructions were simple and this place exceeded our expectations! The loft and bathroom were very clean and hand sanitizer dispensers were in the barn and the loft itself. We loved the sweet kitty who greeted us every day, and we obviously enjoyed feeding the farm animals (Oscar and the cows have our hearts)! The local area has so much to do and we were still able to have a blast despite the rainy weekend. Thank you for making our anniversary such a memorable one and for extending such kindness and care. We felt so comfortable and at home, which sometimes is hard when staying in a new place. 10/10 and 5 ⭐️ all around! We wouldn’t have a negative thing to say even if we tried-don’t change a thing! 💓
