Staying here was a unique and memorable experience! The place was exactly as described—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. You really feel completely secluded, which adds to the charm but can also feel a little spooky at times. But I’ll admit I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to the dark, so that probably didn’t help! 😄 The howling of coyotes at night was mentioned in the description and that it just sounds close but is in fact probably miles away, but as Europeans we definitely underestimated how intense that can feel in person. Considering the relatively high cleaning fee, we found it a bit surprising that guests are still expected to take out the trash, do the dishes and put them away before checking out. All in all, we truly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special, off-the-grid experience.

We had a brilliant few days staying at the fabulous cabin in Big Bear. Timothy was proactive with sharing great local tips and checking we were okay during our stay. The cabin was perfect for our family to relax and watch the local nature; chipmunks, bunnies and rabbits. We loved the hot tub for relaxing after a busy day on our feet. Thanks for having us!

Exactly as advertised, the cabin was very comfortable and had all of the amenities you could ever need for a short stay. The kitchen was top notch, excellent gas stove and oven made cooking easy. The shower/tub combo was unique, but may be a bit challenging to older guests. The bedrooms had great mattresses, pillows, and linens. Outside, the hot tub was exactly what was needed at the end of a long day. Leanne was always prompt responding to any questions.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was beautifully and authentically decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. The pool offered an amazing view, and the whirlpool was clean and perfect for relaxing. The host was incredibly kind and always available – communication was quick and easy. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back

We had such a beautiful stay! Kaitlyn is super responsive and a thoughtful host. The home is thoughtfully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the view was peaceful and serene. The location was perfect — close enough to everything we needed, but tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape from our typical LA hustle. We especially loved grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. A perfect weekend getaway spot!

We had a peaceful and cozy stay at this cabin in Big Bear. The space was well-stocked with the basic amenities and even a few extras, and we really appreciated the clear and thoughtful instructions provided by the host. It made everything easy and stress-free. One thing to note: the walkway up to the cabin is definitely a workout. It's a bit of a climb, so I wouldn't recommend it for small children or elderly guests, especially if you're bringing a lot of stuff. Thankfully, we packed light and managed just fine. As with any mountain retreat, you should be okay with a few critters. We found a couple of bees inside when we arrived, but Dena had some tape available to help trap them. There were also spider webs on the outdoor furniture, so be sure to check before sitting down. On our last morning, we noticed quite a few ants in the shower…but again, it's the mountains, and that kind of comes with the territory. Overall we had a great time and it’s a beautiful location!

Wonderful stay! Secluded beautiful cabin, perfect for a couple and dog. Had a beautiful night stargazing from the patio and spa. Kitchen amenities were perfect for cooking a meal!

My family and I loved the cabin.We are planning going back in July for 3 days we will love to stay there again. Everything was nice and clean. The only thing missing is toddler toys and board game.

We absolutely loved staying here so much. The location was amazing it was so quiet beautiful and peaceful. The house was nice has everything you could need. Would for sure recommend it!

This was a great place to stay in big bear. It wasn’t too far from the town and only a 10 minute drive to Snow Summit where we had our race. For 7 people, it might be kind of small with only 1 shower, but we made it work. It was nice and cozy. The heater was good and the water was nice and hot. I liked how there was a chess board outside which was really cool. Note: When we arrived, the place wasn’t cleaned up. We notified our host immediately and she got back to us with a solution that resolved our issues. The cleaning lady came by and cleaned it up well, our host gave us a partial refund with the cleaning fee, and an extra night stay which helped us after our race.

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommended. This place is located in a great location near restaurants, shopping village, activities to do, hiking trails, and the beautiful lake. It is equipped with all the necessities and more! The fun board games, outdoor fun in the backyard, and the jacuzzi made it spectacular and enjoyable stay for my family and I. Joyce is an amazing host, very communicative and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

Quiet location. VERY close to hiking trails. Fully fenced in yard made it desirable to bring our pup and keep him safely contained. Clean, relaxing, peaceful. House has great outdoor space with grill, fire pit, hammock, table, enclosed front deck (great in afternoon) and lots of trees on property. Felt very private and safe even though there are houses on adjacent lots. Dena was very proactive with instructions and thought of everything to make you feel at home (including iPhone chargers next to bed). I did not need to reach out at all during stay but have no doubt Dena would respond quickly to remedy any unforeseen issues. Hope to come back and enjoy the space and Big Bear again soon! This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

La cabaña es perfecta para ir con mascotas, el patio es muy amplio y con muchos árboles, las perritas disfrutaron mucho en todo momento, en la noche se disfruta del silencio, la cabaña cuenta con todo lo necesario para cocinar, sin duda quiero volver en invierno.

This was the perfect space for our “reading vacation”. Very peaceful, lots of cozy spots to curl up with a book or sit and chat. We had planned to get out and explore for a bit, but everyone was so comfortable that we opted to cook and stay in the whole time! The space looked just like the pictures and was clean and tidy when we arrived. We especially appreciated that the check-out instructions weren’t over the top, which can be the case with a place as cute this. The To Dwell here team was kind and responsive in all of our communication. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at this place out in Big Bear! We went in the Summer so there wasn’t many people around but it was so so peaceful within and around the AirBnB. Chase was very proactive when it came to our stay and let us know what to do before we checked in to ensure we got in secure. I loved the surrounding area and it was such a beautiful getaway!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Stay! The house in Big Bear was incredibly cozy and well-kept. We especially loved the DVD player and the great selection of movies—it was such a fun touch! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The back porch was beautifully shaded and maintained, and the front porch had two charming chairs that were perfect for morning coffee. All in all, a fantastic experience—10 out of 10!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Samantha’s cottage. So clean and comfortable that we felt right at home. All the little details made the stay extra special. We will definitely be going back again.

Craig and Mercedes home was the perfect spot for my parents and I have to have a fun and relaxing getaway. The house was the perfect size for us 3 and had everything we needed. The area and neighborhood were quiet and very peaceful. Amazing views! They were so responsive and helpful with questions we had and were checking in with us during our stay which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Big Bear.

This beautiful oasis couldn't possibly be accurately described in words but I'll do my best. Ethereal? Magical? Otherworldly? Kinda does it...but you really have to experience it to appreciate the peace this home is encapsulated in. My husband and I got to enjoy our early June stay along with our pup for a quick, last minute birthday trip. The weather was absolutely incredible with warm days dipping in the cowboy pool and lounging on the daybeds; and cool nights in the hot tub watching lightning storms in the distance. The space was clean and clearly well loved. We practically lived on the covered patio; it really is larger than the main space! StevieAnn provided easy and clear instructions for everything we needed to know and was exceptionally quick with her responses to my few messages. We didn't visit the park but its only about 10 minutes away so we stopped and made a donation. Beautiful place and so welcoming. Will definitely be our go-to anytime we're in Joshua Tree!

Peggy & Christopher’s Dala Haus was absolutely incredible. From the moment we set our foot inside the cabin, we were mesmerized by how beautifully the space was decorated. Our favorite spot was the loft media room, with a huge comfortable sofa, and the big windows to look out to the backyard to watch birds, squirrels and bunnies running around. The backyard that leads to the trails was what we were exited about and it did not disappoint. Our last night we set by the fireplace and played a board game with some wine and ended the night. We’d like to return to Dala Haus and explore the Big Bear Lake next time! Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a great weekend stay at this beautiful and peaceful cabin. The views were gorgeous and we enjoyed them from the outdoor deck as well as the master bedroom window. Jane is a great host and communicated with us throughout our stay and made sure we were settled in and were well acquainted with everything there was to do.
