Older house that was made into a nice rental. Very clean. Within walking distance to the marina. Quiet area for being a close-quarter neighborhood. The neighbors behind the house were very friendly. Hillary is responsive to any messages.

Temple was a great host, and the house was delightful. You can't beat the view!

All around an amazing place, great to unwind and just relax near the water, but not too far from town to go do something with the family. Hands down one of the best places I’ve been and will definitely be returning! Btw check out Appalachian Caverns, really an amazing place.

Perfect stay for our family! Incredibly clean, beautiful decor. The hosts have paid close attention to detail and this house had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the fenced in yard and fire pit. The sound machines in each bedroom were a great touch, and all the beds slept great! This is truly one of the nicest airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The hosts are so friendly and respond quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back!

it was very close to fabulous restaurant, Jen's. snacks, coffee, etc, water were furnished. all beds were comfortable as well as the whole place was very clean. we enjoyed our stay.

Sundown Farms is an absolute gem. I arrived at Tri-Counties Airport, and the directions Maggie gave were spot on. Once I arrived, I was in awe of the area's beauty; the views are stunning. Self check-in was easy. I was greeted at the farm by Lucy and Fred, the donkeys, which made my day. Once inside, the house had everything one needs for a fantastic stay, and it was very clean. Mia, the neighbor's dog, came for a visit every day; she is so friendly and sweet. The owners of the cows came by and invited us to feed them the apple biscuits they had brought. Maggie was quick to respond, and as someone who has stayed at many Airbnbs, she was an amazing host, five-star all the way. We stayed in the area for my godson's wedding, which was minutes away. It made it very convenient and a perfect place to relax, unwind, and take in the quietness between all the activities of the wedding weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly suited for our getaway. Matt was fantastic at communicating, he responded quickly and provided great recommendations about the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks, Matt!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We fished directly off the deck and could see the fish from there also. We attempted to find the steps down to the water a few homes over but we weren’t able to locate them. We loved that the home was back off the road but still very close to town and many local places. The neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained. Everything exceeded our expectations for the home and location!! The only suggestion I can give is for a WELCOME binder with lists of local restaurants and other attractions and clear instructions to the steps down to the water. Also, include a checkout checklist. And maybe a book for all visitors to sign and leave a word about their visit and where they are visiting from! Just ideas I have seen in other past rental homes! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Great peaceful place to stay. We had an absolute blast while we were there. It is absolutely beautiful. Lance was a great host and made you feel right at home. You would never even know he was there if he hadn’t come out and met you the place is absolutely beautiful if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay, you can’t go wrong staying here. It is beautiful. Words can’t describe how beautiful it was there and what was even more amazing two jets flew right over where we were staying at at a very low altitude. I meant words can’t describe when you see that and also the wildlife was everywhere. A deer walked up within 20 feet of us. We loved our stay and we were going back in October.

This was our 2nd time staying here! We love it! So peaceful yet close enough to lots of places and activities! We stayed the first time in Feb 2024 to go SnowTubing at Hawksnest which was close by and this time we checked out the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster which was also very close by! Truly a gem of place ..especially for this fam of 5! We will be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Abril and Christophers place. Location was great for access to the mountain biking trails.

We absolutely loved this adorable house! The porch was lovely, nice features included an outside fan which made it super comfortable. We loved the griddle for breakfast. The bed was comfy, couch comfy and the decor was beautiful. I loved being our visits from John (the dog) he was amazing. The new baby pigs was a pleasant surprise. We felt super safe. This tiny house is behind a large shed and some equipment so we were hidden from the road and the view off the porch was so serene! Thanks for a great place to stay!

Beautiful cabin! Our family loved the wrap around porch with stunning views, perfect with a morning cup of coffee! The house was the perfect size and the third floor loft was awesome. Laura was very communicative and we appreciated the clear instructions for check in. The private dock and easy water access was an added bonus! 10/10 would definitely be back!

This was an amazing little place - I actually thought it was nicer than the photos. The host was super communicative and responsive. They really wanted us to have a great time. There are even thoughtful little amenities like a noise machine in the master bedroom. I really appreciated that because I usually sleep with a fan on for background noise but don't travel with one. That really showed me how much they cared about their guests comforts. RENT this place - you won't be disappointed.

Stephanie’s cabin was nice and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. Our kids had a blast exploring the woods and playing ping pong.

The house was outstandingly beautiful! Neighborhood was quiet and exclusive. The porch had a beautiful view. The grill was a nice feature to have. We enjoyed our stay. House was clean. It was nice to have an option to use a canoe. It rained most of our visit so we did not get the chance to take it out. The walk to the lake is not far but it is all uphill on the way back.

Tucked far off the beaten path, it's surrounded by stunning scenery and just a short walk from the lake. The cabin itself is cozy yet spacious, with one bedroom but plenty of sleeping space for a group (we had 8 adults and were very comfortable). It’s stocked with all the essentials for a relaxing stay, no need to go anywhere unless you really want to. Would recommend taking extra toilet paper and paper towels. If you're someone who likes to dine out, be prepared to drive. Restaurants and stores are quite a distance away, so plan ahead and bring what you need. But honestly, that's part of the charm, it's a place meant for staying in, slowing down, and enjoying the quiet. The deck deserves a special mention, it’s hands-down the most relaxing part of the property. Whether you're sipping a drink, reading a book, or just soaking in the view, it's the perfect place to unwind.

WOW!!! Such a magical place!. We had a wonderful time at Kokoro. I have never had a glamping experience and this felt like home. It had everything we needed for a long weekend. Deborah has really put in the time to think this place out. The walking trails and serenity labyrinth were awesome. We roasted marshmallows on the deck in the firepit. There are places by the creek to sit and sip wine and listen to the sounds of nature that surround you. She has all the necessities in the dome and extra things like bocci ball and hiking sticks in the well house. We will be coming back.
