The stay at Todd and Lori’s was something out of a DREAM! The upstairs balcony is stunning and always has a great breeze so you’re never too hot! The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything you need is there snorkel gear to kitchen utensils. It’s close to many things off the beaten path which makes it perfect so you don’t run into too many people! Delicious food is right around the corner too!

The Living Waters home is incredible. Walk in the front door and the ocean is right in front of you. Daysi met us at the airport, directed us to Eldon's so we could stock up (get everything you think you'll need, we didn't find other stores on the island with similar selections and its 1 hour from the house). We had Dulce, helped by her daughter, cook a number of meals for us. They were a delight and food was great. If you don't have a car you can get to a few places. Go to Cliffsides for dinner. Camp Bay Lodge is a few places down, everything we ate there was very good. Still I'd recommend getting a car so you can explore the entire island, for activities and local restaurants. A lot of people love the east end of the island because it's remote, but do prepare for some very rough dirt roads. Going even 5 miles on the east end of the island might take 30+ minutes. Everyone uses "whatapp" to communicate, so get it before you go. We loved Roatan, super friendly people.

Beautiful location and view. Good amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay. We even had a visit from some local dogs that wanted to make friends and play. Close to a few restaurants perfect location for the east side.

Perfect stay from start to finish!! The Casita is beautifully decorated and so comfortable, has everything you need! The community is so peaceful, all we heard were the sounds of nature as we enjoyed the pool! Only problem we had...we had to go home! :( Thank you again Sean & D'Anna for sharing your paradise with us!! We can't wait to come back!!

The pictures truly don’t capture the beauty of this place. It’s absolutely stunning, nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with breathtaking views. April, Randy, and their amazing team, George and Jason, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of lovely. The communication was exceptional. The indoor & outdoor space is fantastic, & the gorgeous pool invites you to spend hours relaxing. Plus, if you take the kayaks out, you’ll discover a reef perfect for snorkeling—what a delightful bonus! You definitely won’t regret choosing to stay here.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. It is located at Diamond Hill. Gated community minutes from Paya Bay Beach and the short car ride to the beautiful and famous Camp Bay Beach. Lucie has always been a responsive and efficient with requests or issues. This trip there was an issue with the AC. Next day between her quick response and the committed efforts from the on property management 2 brand new AC units were installed. The house sits up nice and high and 3 sidesare wrapped with a deep deck, fans and abundant outdoor lighting. Kitchen is fully equipped. Unlike the West side of the island, restaurants are necessarily all walking distance. Having the equipped kitchen allowed foe us to cook our meals without issue. Diamond Hill has a beautiful infinity pool and bar way up over looking the ocean. Spectacular!! Typically pretty quiet too. we just wrapped up 2 full weeks and couldn't believe how quickly it went. Always a good sign of a smooth experience! Recommend this property for sure!

From the moment we arrived, Daysi gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and answering all our questions. The house is beautifully decorated, with each bedroom featuring a unique theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, making our stay even more convenient. There were plenty of amenities. The bedrooms were cozy and inviting, while the spacious bathrooms added an extra level of comfort. With just five of us, the house felt incredibly large—it easily accommodates up to 10 guests. One of our favorite spots was the porch, furnished with comfortable seating where we spent hours enjoying family time, reading, and soaking in the breathtaking ocean view. The peacefulness of the area was truly unmatched, making our stay even more special. After over 15 years of vacationing in West Bay, we decided to try this side of the island for the first time—and we’re never going back to West Bay

Disclaimer: we actually stayed at the house next door so this is not representative of this exact listing. However, what I can share about it is that the surroundings are extremely beautiful and quiet even if just off the main road. A manager is available in case you might need anything. And most importantly the house was extremely well equipped and I can assume this might be the case for all of the listings from the owners, better equipped than my own place. Overall, great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We spent almost all of our time there either on the pier, on the beach or in the pool, the only other people we saw were the hosts. The scenery is amazing! The water was see through and warm. To do it all over again, we would have taken Mariolas recommendation on a day boat for snorkeling as the kayaking was a little difficult due to high winds, so we did not get to do any real snorkeling, but theres always next time. We brought our own food up with us, because we knew we were well off the beaten path(rent an SUV for this ride) but did stop in to eat at La Sirena and the food and setting were great. For the better part of a week, all we did was rest and recharge, and it was all we wanted! Highly recommend this spot!

A beautiful place and with many amenities that are needed outside a noisy atmosphere of the city. A nice location to explore the other part of the island that almost nobody knows about. Very nice place and with excellent conditions. Impeccable!!!!

We loved our stay here. It was away from the cruise crowds and we got around just fine with our rental car. We happened to stay during the windy-est week ever, and sweet Hana was always checking in on us when the power winked out a couple of times. It was nothing that she could have prevented, but it was nice to know that someone cared!

Beautiful house! We had a group of 8 adults and everyone had their own space, but also a big common area for us all to gather together! The pool was the perfect size and it was so fun watching the ocean and the sunset from the pool. The village is wonderful. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. It felt very safe. The village convenient store had produce, beer, and essentials. The community dock is lovely and a nice way to be on the water without worrying about the sand fleas. Turquoise Bay resort is right around the corner and Subway Sports was a fantastic dive shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Took us out to dive and snorkel several times and we saw tons of ocean life! You can also use the kayaks at the house and tie it to the white markers on the reef and snorkel right in your front yard! Kayaking through the mangroves is a cool experience, too. Myra, the local contact person, is so kind and helpful. We would have been lost without her. We can’t wait to come back to Roatan!

100% need a car for the location but the spot is ideal for those looking to explore the east side of the island. With a car you are within 30 minutes to beaches, beach clubs, restaurants, small grocery shops. A short 10/15 min walk to Punta Gorda for evening drinks or dinner watching the sunset. Quiet and safe area. Soccer field next door for morning exercise or night time star gazing. Free to use kayaks and laundry was amazing. Kitchen very well stocked. Shower was great, big bathroom. The extra Couch bed/futon was comfortable. Fast wifi, cold A/C, drinking water from the tap!!! We recommend Punta Gorda sundays, La Sirena, Beach Day pass at Media Luna ($10), Comedor Gabriela, Hole in the wall plus the boat ride ($20 from HITW) to the mangroves and ask to stop at Happys landing too! The Hosts were fast to response always! Would stay again and would recommend.

Those who complain about this place can go get dressed! This place is absolutely perfect. Lovers of nature, less touristy places, an authentic experience near the villages and the local population, it's here. The accommodation is spacious, at all the necessities and even more, hosts respond very quickly to messages and always ready to help, a deck with idyllic hammocks for morning coffee or a perfect moment of relaxation, a bright, cozy space, at the end of the world or almost! A very comfortable bed. Only tip: as it is near mangroves, lots of mosquitoes outside, bring mosquito repellent and everything will be fine!!! I spent 4 nights there, but I would have stayed another week!!

This place is amazing. If you truly want to take in the cultural side of Roatan and have the most gorgeous sunsets to wind down to after the day this is your place. Beautiful taste in art, architecture, and decor. A very well built home with a unique floor plan to entertain. There are enough restaurants and activities nearby with your rental car, but you can still make a day drive to the west end if you want to make a day out of it. The caretaker Omar is wonderful and great to have nearby. Would gladly stay again. Private location but just off the road. :) Sheri and Brian were helpful making sure we were set up. Great job, everyone!

Our stay at Brian and Sherri's place was phenomenal. The location is gorgeous. Tucked away on a beautiful lagoon, with incredible views all around. Communication with Sherri was prompt, easy and helpful. The house is well stocked. The wifi is fast (40+ up and down). The bar/restaurant downstairs is often lively but never loud. The staff around the marina are all friendly and helpful. Jump in off the dock. Kayak around the lagoon. Swim out to the floating bar. Nap on the porch. Everything you could ask for out of a Roatán stay. Unless your looking for all inclusive, cruise ship vibes. in which case West End is your best bet. If you're looking for a perfect little hidden gem, this is it!

Unfortunately, I could not stay here because my flight got cancelled, so here is the review from my friend who was there: Sherri’s place is very clean and beautiful! It is well-stocked with useful things. I enjoyed my stay.

My partner and I loved our time at Starfish house. We wanted to get off the beaten path of the more touristy areas of the island and get some privacy. The house is gorgeous. The quality & cleanliness of the home was at a standard found in the US, which is uncommon in Roatan. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves & paddleboardng out to snorkel on the reef. We found lots of starfish & conch! Keep in mind: 1)We were under the impression that the beach front/community was private, but it isn't. we arrived to local children climbing on house stuff and trying to come to the top deck while I was sunbathing. The owners took care of this, but locals were still fishing in front of our place & on the dock the entirety of our stay. We adjusted our expectatons & it was fine, but would've been nice to know ahead of time. 2.) Use bug spray. The bugs will get you sooner or later, luckily we've lived in the tropics before so are used to it.

We Completely fell in love with this house. The Pictures do not do justice at all. The views were amazing waking up too. They Provided everything that we needed for a great vacation. They were really friendly and had great Communication from start to finish . The caretaker (Tie tie ) was supper nice , and took care of all our needs , he showed us around on the boat, gave us a history lesson on island . Over all The house is a must if you need to unwind and disconnect . I do recommend a 4wheel drive , since the roads leading up to the house is made of dirt . We also learned that even though they(locals and some stores ) accept US cash ,the US bills can’t be ripped or written on. Thank you for A great vacation !!
