Waterfront holiday rentals in Juneau

Beautiful place! We saw whales, bald eagles, and other wildlife from the living room view. We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the tucked away location while also still being a short drive to get downtown. Tyler was a fantastic host - very kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay again for our next Juneau trip!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The view was amazing!! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect spot to drink your morning coffee and watch the eagles soaring around. The rental was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. I initially had a problem with the key/lock and reached out for help. They responded rapidly and took care of the issue immediately. I was impressed with their rapid response. I would absolutely recommend this rental to other travelers. It is close to restaurants , main roads and downtown Juneau but away from all the cruise ship tourists. I am already looking forward to coming back next year and staying there again.

Nanci’s place is in a beautiful, quiet location! You have your own private outdoor space with seating, a grill, and solo stove; it was a very nice space to hang out after hiking all day! Inside was just as cute with a gorgeous bay window that overlooks the water. Thanks Nanci!

Reached out to Adam for a last minute stay and he was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and the place was a perfect, peaceful 1bdrm with an amazing view! Will definitely work with him and his wife in the future!!

Lara’s Place was perfect for a wonderful Alaskan experience for my husband and I. It was very clean, homey and nicely decorated. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed how peaceful the area was. It also was a great location…we took a short walk along the Mendenhall River in front of the apartment to discover a beautiful view of the Mendenhall Glacier. Lara answered my questions about the area and gave us some great suggestions of activities. I really appreciated her hospitality and personal touch.

Awesome location right on the Gastineau Channel and only 6 minute drive to town and great restaurants. Everything was clean and convenient. Very spacious and could easily accommodate up to six people comfortably. Very close to many activities such as cultural center, glaciers and breathtaking vistas. Brand new washer/dryer. Well-appointed kitchen and well stocked with necessities. Tv was not hooked up to cable. Only a limited number of DVDs available.

The Eagle's Lair was everything we could have hoped for during our three day stay in Juneau. The view from both the living room and the main bedroom was absolutely stunning! We always felt close to the water and even had the opportunity to see whales spouting off in the distance, sea lions searching for food, and abundant bald eagles flying right from the living room!! The deck was fantastic and a wonderful place to sit outside no matter what the weather was doing as it was protected from the rain. There were a lot of wood stairs to navigate but for my husband and I this was no trouble, and actually added to our experience as the stairs allowed guests to actually get right down to the stony beach below, where another great deck was situated, complete with firepit, firewood, chairs and everything needed to enjoy the stunning marine surroundings. It was absolutely a gorgeous location and a wonderful home that we feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at.

John's place was fantastic. Beautiful view, quiet, close to the university, and very comfortable. John is an amazing host, very helpful, friendly, and even made us a breakfast every morning!

Beautiful! Cannot recommend this place enough :) We will definitely be back!! Such a beautiful drive into town, great way to start the day. There was a family of bluejays who greeted us hello & goodbye and hung out with us during our stay. We even saw seals in the water! Such a lovely nature getaway. The hot tub and washer & dryer was a huge plus! Full size kitchen as well. Wish we booked our stay longer, was hard to leave!!

I can't say enough about this place and the hosts. Pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful from top to bottom. Sit on the deck and watch Humpack whales and all sorts of sea life go by. Excellent communication, and quite possibly the best hosts we've ever had. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to visitors.

Awesome place to stay!! The double one sinks (right) on the lower floor bathroom did not drain very well. Other Talan that, I hope it is available next year for brewfest.

Fantastic !! Alot more room than I thought. Incredible views. A great location, a couple beaches and trails close by and a local pub on the Island within walking distance. Lovely Alaskan art everywhere my girlfriends were impressed with the entire place.

Had an amazing time at Christopher’s listing! Right on the water and had the most beautiful view with amazing sunsets. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a group of 7 adults . Plenty of space, great kitchen for this group. kitchen is modern. Nice view of the channel. Heat a little finicky at times, but never a real problem (never cold). Very clean. All bedrooms are on the lower floor, down a flight of stairs. The back (lower) deck looked nice and new, but we didn't get out to it because the rain wouldn't let up and stairs were slippery.

We had a lovely stay at this delightful house on the water. It had all the necessary amenities. The host was great - superb instructions, and called the day we were arriving to let us know we could check into the house early. It was located in a secluded location but within easy driving distance of downtown Juneau, supermarkets, and places to eat. We felt relaxed and at home from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed learning about the artist, Rei Munoz, whose art adorned the house. We visited her gallery and when we told the young man working there that we were staying in the house, he provided us a matted card as a gift, along with the cards we purchased. Highly recommend this house if you are coming to Juneau and want a nice, relaxing place to stay.
