Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

Through the large glass front, breathtaking views of the surroundings. Via the Zevenhuizervaart connected to the timelessly beautiful Kagerplassen and the A4 and A44 around the corner. Recently renovated comfortable house (64m2) at the water in the green heart of Holland, surrounded by windmills and cows right across the canal. Close to the main cities and the Kaag lakes: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Zandvoort, Keukenhof 30, Schiphol-airport 15, Leiden 10 mins by car. During winter the house is also warm and cosy with floor heating. 4 canoes are available for you. Boats can be rented in the area, rental bikes delivered to the house. Free parking. Not suitable for non-swimmers.

Luxury family house on the water, 6 people, with boat dock

In this luxurious rural house with direct access to the Kagerplassen, it is wonderful to stay. There is a garden around the house and a private jetty for your boat. Wake up with beautiful views over the meadows and swim or paddle on the lake, egg BBQ, pizza oven. The house is centrally located in the green heart, 20 minutes drive from Amsterdam, 15 minutes from the North Sea beaches and close to the old University City of Leiden (5 km) with all its museums and nice restaurants.

Vacation bungalow at the Kagerplassen

The bungalow is located in a private park, in the middle of the meadows, just outside of Leiden. From the park, there are various hiking and biking routes through the meadows along mills and water. North Sea beach Katwijk 20 minutes away. The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Haarlem, Delft, Gouda are 30 minutes' drive away. The marina connects to the Kagerplassen water sports area. Guests can use our 2-person canoe. Sailing and motor boats are available for rent in the area.
