Cabin holiday rentals in Kaaterskill Falls

We love staying at this peaceful and idyllic cabin. The property is very well maintained and true in character to its beautiful surroundings. We love the log fire, the hot tub and the beautiful garden full of wildlife. The area has plenty to do including great farmers markets, distillery with pizza truck and lots of walking and much more.

We had a wonderful stay at Margot’s place in the beautiful Catskill Mountain area of Hunter, NY. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with the family. We truly loved the serene surroundings and the comfort of the home—it felt like the perfect getaway. Margot was a great host, and we’d definitely book again without hesitation!

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful, as is the bedroom with the view of the mountains. We plan to come back soon.

This was our second time staying at Rashmi‘s property and it was just as great as we remembered. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to make dinner at home, the views were amazing and it was so nice to hang out by the fire pit at night. Our dogs loved the backyard and there was a great farm stand just down the road. Rashmi was super responsive and flexible. She is an awesome host and we hope to book another stay soon!

We had a wonderful trip after visiting Legoland in Goshen, about an hour away. The cabin was perfect and we were able to explore Kaaterskill Falls, the world’s largest kaleidoscope, Woodstock and Phoenicia Diner + we enjoyed the hot tub and added to the painted rock collection on property.

We had an amazing time at Richard’s cabin. It fit all of us perfectly and it was super well stocked with everything we could possibly need.

We had the most amazing time at Ed's cabin! Our group was looking for a peaceful getaway, and this place delivered. Nestled in the woods with a beautiful view, the cabin was the perfect escape. It had everything we needed: firewood and supplies for a cozy fire, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, hot tub, and more. The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a huge garden and plenty to explore. Ed was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend this cabin, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time on the property. That said, it's still close enough to the Catskills' main hiking spots. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

I know the area super well so have a good perspective on location and quality of available accommodation etc. Mark and Lori’s place was standout on all dimensions. Close to both Woodstock and Saugerties which is great for dining and social options. Location is safe, pretty, peaceful and convenient. The house itself is immaculate and charming with a lot of nice character touches. It’s well appointed, and even if you choose to dine in, they have supplied all that one could need. A special place and if I need accommodation again I would book in a heartbeat.

We recently stayed at Tina's and had a great time. The location is secluded, incredibly peaceful and quiet — all you can hear are the birds in the morning. The home itself is clean and looks just like the photos. We also loved that we could bring our dog along with us. We live in the city so our pup doesn't get to touch much grass, and he had a blast running through the fenced-in yard. Although we originally booked because the house has a pool and we were hoping for good weather, it rained almost the entire time we were there... Nonetheless, it felt like the coziest home for a rainy weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting inside by the fire to watch a movie, cooking in the kitchen and building a fire outside when the rain stopped. The location was also great for driving into Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hudson and surrounding breweries and wineries.

We had a delightful time during our annual Memorial Day Catskills trip. Katie's cabin is beautifully decorated. You can tell it's the home of a photographer - every corner is picture perfect. The color scheme and charm of the cabin is gorgeous, and the skylights illuminated the space so nicely in the mornings and throughout the day. Wet weather kept us from spending too much time in the outdoor living spaces, but the indoor space was so lovely, we didn't mind staying in at all. Katie was an accommodating host and checkout was a breeze. Thank you, Katie, and to everyone else - enjoy your stay at one of the most charming places you'll find for your Catskills getaway!

5 stars all around! This house is super cozy, clean and well kept. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Loved the giant front yard and mountain view that was visible from inside the house too! The covered deck was really great for both working outdoors and relaxing. The wood-burning pizza oven is a cute touch, we had fun making our own pizzas. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook in as well. Location was nice and private but still a close enough drive away from grocery/hiking/restaurants. The hosts were accommodating with early check-in, communicative and had lots of recs in their guidebooks. Would highly recommend this home!

This is one of my favorite Airbnb’s. Charming, cozy, and peaceful—truly a gem. Jolene goes above and beyond as a host. I highly recommend this guest house if you’re looking for an enchanting getaway.

Minetta's cabin was as beautiful as in the listing and the stay was easy and comfortable. It was a wonderful weekend retreat and a great homebase during a busy wedding weekend.

This is the perfect cabin retreat. Beautiful property with incredible back porch views, stunning fireplace, creekside access, and gobbling turkeys in the distance. It was just what I was looking for to celebrate a birthday with friends. Secluded enough to feel private but close enough to a charming town for drinks and coffee. Jim was also super communicative and made it easy to settle in—he even gave me a heads up about the weather that weekend to make sure we were packed appropriately. I was considering a couple of places, and I’m so happy I chose this one. Highly recommend a visit. P.S. The heated floors are a really nice touch.

Loved my stay here! My dog is reactive and it was so nice to have a space she could be let off leash without worry. The views are beautiful. It’s just a 10 minute drive to town. Looking forward to coming back here in the near future.

Wonderful place to stay in Hunter! Loved the view from this super comfortable and spacious (for one or a couple) modern cabin. The hosts have great taste in design and were very responsive and friendly when I needed help with something. Great WiFi, great kitchen and bath and comfortable bed. There’s a lovely view of the mountains through a large window but it’s so cleverly designed that you never feel a lack of privacy. I highly recommend a stay here.

This my third time back to Ellen’s cabin. It’s great place for a weekend in the Catskills. The property is beautiful and very private. The area surrounding the cabin is equally as beautiful. I plan to come back for many years to come.

Kathy’s cabin was a wonderful, serene getaway. Kathy gave us a heads-up where the nearest markets/restaurants were and provided all the kitchenware we could want. It made for a very memorable weekend for my girlfriend and I. There is even a cute little pond where we saw little lizards and tadpoles! We will definitely book again, thank you Kathy!

Fil & Ellie’s place was the perfect stay for our getaway. Their home is amazing. We were very impressed by the amenities, the cleanliness and attention to detail. This place has everything you’ll need for a great stay. The hosts were also very helpful in answering our questions and assisting us with check-in. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.

Angela & John were great hosts and were very responsive in the lead-up and check-in process. They even offered to have the driveway shoveled when a big snow storm passed through. The cabin felt private and was away from the main property. Overall, I would recommend it to a friend.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable; the house was well stocked with everything we needed and the backyard is well maintained. We had a nice, relaxing time grilling and sitting by the fire but if you’re in the mood to eat out, definitely try Julia’s Local.

A lovely place for a short getaway from the city!

We've stayed in over 20 AirBnBs across the world and this is definitely one of the best. It was perfect in every way: immaculately clean; beautifully designed; looks brand new; high end appliances; close to so many points of interest and restaurants/cafes and such a nice host. The home was such a comfortable and beautiful space - it even had lots of plants and flowers which gave the place an inviting feel. 10/10
