Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Kabini River

Amazing warm welcome after I arrived really early and was flexible with my check in, which was much appreciated after my sleeper bus. Place was exactly as described/as per photos and the location was peaceful but only a short rickshaw ride to all the sights. l learnt so much more about Mysore than I would have done had I not stayed here. It was also nice to meet and chat with other guests over breakfast each morning.

The Lodge in Madikeri is a wonderful example of how heritage charm blends seamlessly with modern amenities to create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. At first glance, it felt like a simple old house, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of our Coorg trip. The host—and especially the caretaker and their family—were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The Google Maps location is slightly off, and a signboard on the main road would make it easier to locate. That said, this is truly a must-stay property and absolutely worth every penny. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

Rainforest retreat is a beautiful getaway close to Madikeri. The Luna cottage is relatively easier to access than some of the other cottages in the plantation. There's plenty to do in and around the plantation - bird watching, hiking, learning about medicinal plants, etc. The food was excellent and Ravi Anna was very helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Rainforest Retreat to anyone looking to spend more time in nature and enjoy organic food and a sustainable way of living.

All I can say is, all my future Ooty plans will totally depend on the availability of this property! Cheers to the Hosts ! what a stay!

Great place to stay, me and my friend had a great time. the care takers were also good and try to resolve most of our Needs. Food was good. long story short, no complaints about the place and would love to go there again with friends or family. If possible book both the rooms it give you good privacy as it will be only you in the property.

A lovely place to absorb sights and sounds of nature : wake up with the sound of cock crowing in mornings with warm sunlight stream into the bedroom window, clean and fresh air, views of coffee estates around the property. The mini farm/zoo is definitely a plus point making the place family friendly. It was a wonderful stay with good food and excellent hosts.

Felt like home because of the owners. Kamala Madam and Ramachandran Sir were very helpful. We felt as if it’s our own home. Special mention to Srikanth who is the care taker there. He was very good and helpful. Any point of the day he is responsive and active. Really really liked the place. I recommend this to everyone who wants to have a look at great scenic views and still feel at home.

We had an amazing stay at Zo’s place in Ooty! Right from the start, she was super prompt, warm, and helpful in her responses, which made planning smooth. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade — such a generous gesture! The mansion is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of aesthetic charm. The kitchen comes with a stunning mountain view, and the lawn is absolutely to die for — perfect for lounging, soaking in the view, or just playing around. There were board games and badminton available, which made our stay even more fun and lively. The local caretakers were incredibly kind and warm despite the language barrier — their hospitality truly stood out and made us feel at home. This was one of the most peaceful and memorable stays we’ve had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, serene, and welcoming place to unwind in Ooty!

This Airbnb is the best of all I have tried so far in my travelling life. A very beautiful and serene property nestled amongst the clouds in Coorg. The caretaker and owner were very generous and helpful offering all amenties and accomodating all our requests. A definite must try and value for money.

It was awesome to stay in this resort in the middle of a beautiful landscape. The owner of the resort, Mr.Pradeep was extremely hospitable and He took care of all our needs at all times and ensured that we remained at ease. He helped us readily at all the times, even during late , it is located at an appropriate distance from all the scenic beauties around. There are lot of games to play, including cricket, football, carrom, chess, badminton etc. It feels like heaven to wake up at early mornings, when the mist is at its peak. The authentic complimentary kerala breakfast, that they offer is delicious. Vamp fire with party music was the highlight of accommodation to have fun until late night. Separate kitchen is also available to cook non vegetarian food. For a family members of 20 people, you got all the facilities to cook and enjoy the delicacy. Overall, I would recommend this resort readily to all of my friends who might visit wayanad.

If someone waiting for a perfect stay with peace, full of green lust and enjoy a great home food then definitely check in to this place without second option And the host is always responsive and friendly, they are having good cook who cooks home food as per our order I'll recommend this stay greatly

It was exactly how it was described by host on the posting. Serene. Beautiful. Quite. The location was just what you need for a quite getaway. But the only issue was the driveway of 200 mts leading to the property. It is extremely steep and if it rains you will find it very difficult to drive even with most experience drivers. Apart from this bit, I do not there was any other issue with the place. The care taker was kind enough to accommodate our request for early check in. The breakfast was very simple yet scrumptious.

Very nice and cozy case. Beautiful surroundings. Right in the lap of nature. You will enjoy if you want to have time off and relax. Sashi was very helpful and just a call away in case you need anything. Just one suggestion: infrastructure of the rooms can be improved.

Rachana’s house is beautiful and clean, and despite being located in a very busy area, is relatively peaceful and quiet. The homemade food was outstanding! Check-in was a bit inconvenient but Rachana and her caretaker were very friendly, she was apologetic about the delays and helped us out with our itinerary as well.

Just Perfect. Peaceful location, in the midst of a coffee estate. The cottages were just as described and shown in the photos. Food was delicious, home cooked and based on our choice. The hosts extremely friendly, caring and were ready to help us with anything and recommended quite a few local places. Thanks to Poovika and Shiv for the warm hospitality. Keep up the great work.

I’d booked myself in here for my week in Mysore and I’m so happy I did, it was the perfect place for me. I even extended my stay by one extra night to catch one of the activities running there. Hopefully I’ll be back in Gokulam and I know where I’ll be staying. Ideal location, great food at excellent prices and always served with a smile. I did the yoga every morning, excellent guidance and encouragement. I enjoyed reading my book in the peaceful garden. Thanks Aditya and team for the friendly welcome.

This place is an absolute must-visit if you’re planning a trip to Coonoor. It’s spotless, thoughtfully done, and everything feels crisp and perfect. The location is another big plus — just a short drive from Ooty, Kotagiri, and Coonoor. Surrounded by stunning views and peaceful vibes, it’s the kind of place you won’t want to leave.

The moment I booked the room, I got a call from Najeeb sir and Ayisha Mam, to understand our tour plan and guided us accordingly. We went to Chembrapeak, Banasura Sagar dam but it is not as scenic as the view from this home. we especially enjoyed the retreat of the Moon behind the high-raised mountains.   Our entire family melted with the hospitality and affection of Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir.   Thank you so much Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir for making our trip memorable, I am certain we will not have such a trip unless we come here.
