Holiday rentals with a patio in Kagurazaka

The apartment was very tidy. EleVen was very helpful with clear communication and directions for checking in. He was there to meet my group and help us settle in.

Very good apartment, we contacted the host to do the check in earlier than expected and she was very accommodating allowing us to have the apartment a few hours before. Good location, very close to the station on foot with access to all the major areas of Tokyo. Excellent value for money

Great location, anything you can think of is nearby. Quiet neighborhood, allowing for plenty of rest. Space was tight for three people with large luggage, but we made it work. Overall would recommend.

The place was very nice and roomy. Had all the necessities and the host was very responsive. The area is pretty calm and close to Shinjuku station which was convenient. Would definitely recommend this place for others!

Lala is probably the best host I’ve ever had on the app. Very responsive and helpful. She even went out of her way to check with the gyms nearby when I asked her whether they cater to drop-ins. Place was located in a great neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet, yet close to the metro station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and there’s also multiple convenience stores within arm’s reach. If you’re queer, it’s also a walking distance away from Ni-chome, which is Tokyo’s most reputable gay neighborhood. Overall great in all senses of the work. Thanks Lala!

The apartment had a nice layout with two separate water closets and a nice separate shower stall. It was also nice to have a clothes dryer, drying rack, and patio. The apartment was located in a very quiet residential neighborhood and walking distance to many restaurants and the train station.

This location is outside the massive crowds of Shibuya and other sections of Tokyo, but there's still a vibrant city feel and lots to do. Nakano Broadway has many different bars, restaurants & shops. The train stations is less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We had a party of 6 adults and loved the space. I recommend scheduling an off day to ride the trains for the first time so you are not frazzled or rushed. Once you get the hang of it, you will be able to see the other sections of Tokyo with ease. I highly recommend this apartment and host--both were fantastic! We had an amazing week in Tokyo!

This was our first trip to Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dans place! The house was exactly as pictured and the directions given were perfect! The home is fully equipped with everything you could need! Having the 3 floors was nice as we traveled as a family of 5 with 2 teenagers, so everyone was able to have their own space. I will say, if having a tv is important to you, there aren’t any in this home, but that was not an issue at all for our family! Dan provided great local recommendations and was very responsive with any questions I had. The house is in a great location for multiple train stations and corner stores. We will definitely reach back out to stay here again on our next trip to Japan!

Very good place and nice location. 15 min walking to train station and 10 min walking to subway. Total: 30 min to Shijunku and 50 min to shibuya. Everything clean.

Hibiki's place was really spacious, perfect for our family of 9. It is close to Yahiro train station, it has a 7 Eleven close by. Hibiki was a really nice host, really helpful.

My friends and I loved the place. Close to the station and really yummy restaurants. Beds were comfy and the rooms were very spacious. Best sleep we had our whole holiday

My family was thankful that we chose Wanyi’s home for the first leg of our Tokyo trip. It was on a peaceful street, tucked into a vibrant neighborhood. From this location, we did grab taxis to major sites. Staying with two teens, they each had their own bedrooms. The beds were all comfortable. Wanyi provided coffee, and other helpful items. She was incredibly friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

我们一家四口在这里住了八晚，房东夫妇亲自欢迎我们入住，给我们带来了礼物，为我们详细介绍了房内电器、设施的使用方法和注意事项，并且非常贴心地为我们同行的婴儿准备了婴儿纸巾、沐浴露、玩具等婴儿用品，二楼厨房的冰箱装满了水、饮料、酸奶等食品供我们免费使用。房屋保养得非常干净，通往二楼和三楼的台阶、厨房、房间打扫得一尘不染、无可挑剔。住所周边环境非常安静，居住氛围浓厚，与东京闹市区的人满为患形成鲜明对比，步行范围内有便利店、快餐店、餐厅、大型超市等各类餐饮设施。二楼的客厅厨房起居室为我们一家人提供了便利的生活空间，早上我们会在厨房一起吃早餐，吃完后开启一天的旅程，晚上返回住所后在客厅休息聊天。房东响应非常迅速，总能快速回复消息，更重要的是，她及时热心地帮助我们收集处理旅行期间的厨余垃圾和生活垃圾，去过日本的游客都知道这有多么重要！通往二楼和三楼的楼梯狭长陡峭（没办法，日本独栋建筑的通病），对于需要搬运大件行李上楼和腿脚不便的老年人来说会有点困难，但是楼梯加装了扶手确保上下台阶的安全。如果你想避开东京闹市区的人山人海，这里是非常适合一家人居住的选择。

Kiyoka place is the best Rb&b. I stayed there for 4 night. My family feel like we are staying at nice hotel everything is perfect no complain the location only 100 meter from Keisei Takasago station. We will come back to stay at Kiyoka place if i visit Japan again.

Propre, chaleureux, accueillant et plus encore. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis comme chez soi. Il y avait beaucoup d’accommodation comme du café, petit bonbon, bouteille d’eau et autres. On se sent vraiment à la maison. L’hôte est très chaleureux et répond rapidement. Les environs sont remplis d’activités et de beaux restos. Cependant, c’est a 1h de Shibuya et Shinjuku alors si vous comptiez y aller, il faut prévoir le coup.

Great place and great host. Very large by Tokyo standards and homely. Also very central so easy to get around. Premo was extremely responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay, even sourcing a babysitter at very short notice! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Très bel appartement, un peu loin du métro mais facile d’accès. L’ascenseur dans la résidence est un vrai plus car voyageant avec une poussette c’est vraiment pratique. J’ai eu du mal à trouver l’airbnb et l’hôte a fait en sorte que je le trouve facilement. Petit présent à la fin du séjour délivré par l’hôte ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus appréciable. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral mitten im Herzen von Shinjuku. Im Radius von 5 Gehminuten findet man mehrere Supermärkte und Restaurants. Der Hauptbahnhof von Shinjuku liegt 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Für europäische Verhältnisse wirkt die Wohnung gerade so ausreichend für 2 Personen und ich würde sie nur für 2-3 Tage in Betracht ziehen. Der größte Vorteil ist die Flexibilität der Lage und der schöne Ausblick vom Balkon. Man bekommt eine reale japanische Wohnerfahrung mitten in Tokyo. Der Gastgeber hat alles Nötige für die ersten Tage bereitgestellt (inkl. Snacks, Kaffee und Saft!) und war immer sofort erreichbar. Wir haben zufrieden ausgecheckt und würden die Unterkunft als erstes Ankunftsziel weiterempfehlen!

This stay was perfect! Comfortable beds, great space, kitchen with everything you would need for a few nights stay. The area was very walkable and quiet with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The station was also very close, which was great for getting around Tokyo quickly! Would definitely stay hear again.

The host was incredibly kind and responsive — when we realized the place wasn’t the right fit for our family, they graciously allowed us to shorten our stay without any issues. The unit was clean, spacious for Tokyo standards, and very close to Shinjuku Station, which made getting around easy. That said, the building and surrounding area weren’t quite what we expected. It’s near the red-light district, which may not bother everyone, but it didn’t feel right for us. The building is older, with worn common areas. We saw puddles in the hallway — possibly from the weather — and generators nearby added some noise. The elevator also showed its age. With a young child who has sensory needs, it felt a bit overstimulating — not because of the host, but due to the building and neighborhood. If you’re okay with a grittier, urban, high-adult traffic area and want access to Shinjuku nightlife and trains, it could work well.

This was a perfect spot for us and our 3 teenagers. We could get to the train stations easily, shopping and food choices nearby were abundant, and the host was amazingly responsive and accommodating. I especially appreciated how responsive the host was. We had some questions during our stay about the area and such, and they provided tips and help immediately. We also loved that they had water, juice, and coffee in the fridge for us when we arrived. After a long day of travel, the drinks were very much appreciated. If we were to stay in Shinjuku again, we would definitely stay here.
