We had a wonderful time at the Bunkie. Julie, Patrick, and Max are lovely and warm hosts who are passionate about protecting the Mother Nature and wildlife. We loved the stories about how they built their connections with the wildlife there. The Bunkie is cozy and the perfect size for couples or small families. The kitchen has all the essential items, and the washroom is super clean with a 180-degree view of the private lake. We enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, and hiking on the private trail, and the view of the fall colors from Kinder Camp is truly stunning. My 9-year-old son had an amazing time with Max! Thank you, Julie, Patrick, and Max, for sharing such a lovely place; we will be back in the summer.

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

It was really lovely, overall. Andrey was very communicative during the whole experience, from booking to check-in. It was a nice getaway from our normal urban grind and really allowed us to recharge. I would recommend for anyone looking for a unique take on camping and an opportunity to get away from the city. Alyce’s cabin by the lake is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The setting is peaceful and private, with stunning views of the lake that made the morning and evening feel magical. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the porch, kayaking, or just relaxing by the firepit, every part of the experience was serene and refreshing. Alyce was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and accommodating. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, you can’t go wrong with this place. We can’t wait to come back!

We were a group of lifelong friends up for a long weekend and this place was just an amazing backdrop for a long overdue reunion. The space was impeccable, the lot was beautiful and the wood-powered sauna & hot tub were well-loved. Everything was as described -- the first person that arrived simply said "this place is incredible." The manager was super responsive and really friendly and helpful as we figured out the sauna. We've been home and hour and are already talking of booking May 2026 ... now. The place is really pretty, well-appointed and we were thrilled with the weekend.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the tiny home on our honeymoon! The place was beautiful, private, and we LOVED the sauna and cold plunge amenity. One thing I will say is that the location is VERY remote, and you will be 25 minutes from the nearest store, gas station, or restaurant. So make sure to stock up on any supplies! We only had one roll of paper towels and one trash bag for our stay which was fine, but considering the remoteness, you’re definitely gonna need some more supplies than that! There is also a fork in the road where you must choose between two cabin names we weren’t aware of, but take the left road! While this place is very private because of the location, be prepared to be VERY exposed due to lack of any blinds or privacy curtains. At night with lights on, you can clearly see into the entire cabin and bathroom from outside, so that was quite an adjustment for us, especially sleeping. Overall we had so much fun at this cabin and would definitely return!

Neverland was just what we needed. I peaceful, pristine, simple place engulfed by nature. Our three boys spent 95% of the time fishing down at the dock or kayaking around in the lake. Dad and I enjoyed sleeping in, in the coziest, most unique bedroom we have ever stayed in. The coffee + tea setup was wonderfully welcomed surprised. We will be back!! If I could answer questions for future guests I would be happy too. We had the opportunity to meet Peter and the end of our stay, and he is just as we had imagined, kind, calm, and hands on. He did build this place by hand after all. A must stay.
