Based on a Japanese house built over 150 years ago, we renovated it to make it feel comfortable while maintaining its charm. You'll feel a sense of nostalgia, as if you've returned to the countryside. We have prepared traditional crafts that represent Iwate, such as Nanbu ironware, which you can use freely in the building. You can experience the history and traditions of the Hiraizumi area with all five senses, such as drinking hot water from Nanbu ironware, eating food from Suehiro lacquerware, and wearing hand-dyed work clothes from a Kyoto dyeworks. There are rice terraces and forests around the facility, and you can see Mt. Sukawa (Kurikoma) and the Yakeishi Mountains in the distance.
