In Shinshu, from September to November, the autumn foliage gradually descends from the mountains to the lowlands. You can enjoy autumn scenery in various places, including Hakuba/Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands to see the autumn leaves. When you return, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a quiet time in the countryside while enjoying a BBQ and the starry sky. Since it is a whole house rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for multiple nights. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please contact us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance.
