"Agape" means "my home" in the local dialect. Please relax as if you were at home. The entire unit is reserved for one group to ensure privacy. There is a main house (Japanese-style room) next door, separated by an outer wall, where one more group can stay. If there are 4 or more people, we recommend booking both the Western-style room and the Japanese-style room. Prices vary depending on the number of people. Please be sure to let us know the exact number of guests staying in the unit. Supermarket (A-COOP Kinan Kumano Kodo Chikatsuyu), bus stop (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu), restaurant (Shoji Teahouse), and drive-in (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu) are within a 30-second walk, about 500 m to a gas station, and about 5-6 minutes on foot from Kumano Kodo and Kirei Oji. The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so he is familiar with walking tours, local attractions, and information, so please let me know if you need anything. Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
