It was absolutely amazing! We never had a host like Ibrahim. Always friendly, always available. We also had a tour in Male where we have been waiting for our domestic flight. This was the vacation we were looking for. Quiet. Peacefull. LOCAL! Vaikaradhoo is a local island without a resort. Perfect for a quiet holiday. Ibrahim told us Chicco is our go to guy on the island. He arranged tours to inhabited islands with local food. We were able to eat freshly caught fish. It was astonishing! On the island there are several grocery stores. All the people there were always very friendly and welcoming. Like our host :). The guesthouse was absolutely perfect for that trip. We stayed a month. Everything was clean! Ibs, we can´t thank you and Chicco enough for this amazing experience. It was a dream holiday! If you wanna explore and experience the local maldivian life - Vaikaradhoo is the island perfect for that! We will definately be back as soon as we can! Greetings from Germany! :)

We absolutely loved staying at Ali's place! Everything was new, clean, and very comfortable. A huge bonus was the fully equipped kitchen — perfect for cooking our own meals. We also enjoyed using the bikes to explore the island, which has wide, modern roads and feels developed and welcoming. Ali and Nashid are truly wonderful hosts — kind, helpful, and always in touch throughout our trip. They supported us with every little detail, met us on arrival and saw us off when we left — we felt genuinely cared for. The reef in the ocean is stunning — large, vibrant, and full of life. It's not right next to the shore, but we didn’t mind at all — it was a joy to swim out and explore it. If we ever return to the Maldives, we will definitely stay here again!
