Walnut Hill is located in a quiet rural setting 50 miles south of the Kansas City Metro area. The English cottage-style inn sits on 40 acres of wooded and pasture land. The homestead has been operated organically since 1978 with a large vegetable garden and fruit trees. The grounds include a one-mile running or walking path and paths through the woods. Early risers can view deer as they check out the garden. The property is home to an abundance of wildlife including a wide variety of birds.

Our place is close to shopping, dining, and a ton of history. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, and the outdoors space. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The common area is equipped with mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Bottled water, snacks and assorted coffees and teas are complimentary, along with breakfast items for our weekday guests. A full breakfast is served on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the Big House at 8:30 AM.

Vineyard Mansion - Crown Room

The Vineyard Mansion was built, in 1890, by the famed architectural firm of Eckel and Mann for B. R. Vineyard, a prominent attorney in St. Joseph, MO. Although divided into apartments in the 1940's, this Romanesque Revival style mansion has been meticulously restored back to its original use. We are proud to offer the Crown Room, a unique alternative to a hotel room, offering the privacy and comfort of a home away from home, enveloped in the grandeur and elegance of the Gilded Age.

Stunning countryside home 20 minutes from MCI Airport, 35 from downtown KCMO, 7 from Justus Drugstore, 2 from Paradise Locker, and 3 from Smithville Lake. Just over 15 acres of beautiful country fields, a distant view of the bird sanctuary on Smithville lake, and a spacious home with three available accommodations separately listed. Best suited for adult guests.  Accommodations are neither child-safe,  barrier-free (handicap accessible) nor suitable for pets. Just so you know, no third-party services (e.g. chefs, massage therapists) are permitted on the premises unless coordinated through hostess.

Located 1 block from Weston Bluffs Trail into the state park & 2 blocks from downtown Weston for easy access to shops, restaurants, & wineries from this charming stay. The Garden Suite

We are operating a family ran bed and breakfast within our home in Weston, Mo. Our Garden Suite is a charming mint room, where modern and garden vibes meet. This suite features a queen sized bed and its own private bathroom. It also has its own entrance/exit, that is met by an outdoor seating area. The outdoor seating area has patio furniture and lights at night, and is extremely peaceful. The room also features a small smart tv, and of course Wi-Fi.

Close to the downtown area, you can walk to dining, an art gallery and a public park. Great location for visiting Ottawa University Students. We have three bedrooms available, all with queen size beds. The master bedroom offers a private bathroom and a balcony! The Tulip room and Corner bedroom share the main bathroom. Owners have a separate area. All bedrooms are on the second floor- there is no elevator!
