Lovely little apartment in a great location and a really beautiful place. The sauna provided good steam and the beach with swimming piers is right next door. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and we would have enjoyed the place for longer.

The house is at an amazing place, at the head position of a lake, and around it there is a very nice forest-like scenery. We really enjoyed the stay. The house had all amenities, the grill was fairly clean, the surroundings were in a good shape. We had two minor observations, which don’t actually altered our stay but are of those things that can give you an extra smile or some “huh” if are or aren’t there, respectively. The first is the arrangement of beds. The listing clearly says about three king/double-sized beds and two single ones, but there were two king/double-sized and four single ones. Not biggie, but it is not according to the listing. I mean, yes we could put the two single ones together, but still these would not have a smooth, common surface, instead they will have that bump in the middle. The second, minor one, is that the boat needed some cleaning. We did it and it was a fun activity to do, and to be fair the previous days the weather was a bit rainy. Still…

We spent a wonderful extended weekend in Pappilanniemi with the whole family in a big group! The house was absolutely amazing and the plot was magnificent! For 1.5 years, our little Väinö was running around in a large, really child-friendly backyard and waving to the nice boats passing by! One of the best saunas we have ever been to, and the swimming opportunity was the crowning glory of the sauna evenings! What an unforgettable birthday and medieval festival weekend!

Absolutely stunning place! Our 4-year-old announced on the first night that he would not leave, but would move to Onnela... A peaceful place, no neighbors in sight and a large and beautiful yard with lots of games/activities. The house has a very good level of equipment and a large covered terrace, where it was also nice to stay in the rain. To top it all off, there was a magnificent hot tub, where it was wonderful to relax while watching the beautiful lake views. Communication and check-in worked smoothly and the reception was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Well-equipped and cozy cottage in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Great for a family with children (children 1 and 4). We saunas, rowing, swimming, and grilling. I had an amazing stay! The apartment is very lovely decorated and has everything one can need :) I especially LOVED this comfy chair on the balcony!! Also, all the communication was super easy and Timo was very helpful with Café and restaurant suggestions. Would come again and definitely recommend!
