Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kashwakamak Lake

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely lovely spot! We had such a relaxing time here. There was lots to do; kayaking, fishing off the dock, board games, Roku and more. Such a cozy vibe- we are definitely adding it to our list for future getaways. Kees was a great host; very easy to follow instructions and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this cottage. Very private with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a 10 outta 10! I think the only thing that we would suggest is having a picnic table in the yard which would take it from a 10 to 11! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts. This is truly an amazing location.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

absolutely loved this stay, we needed a few days away from our fast paced life to relax with the family and thas exactly what we got. beautiful home, comfortable bedding, breath taking scenery , hot tub was a plus. we loved it. our kids loved it even more. Will definitly be back again! p.s hosts were great very responsive and accommodating!!

Great accommodation, perfectly located and very spacious. Communication with David was great, an extension was possible without any problems and he was immediately there for us in case of problems.

I recently stayed at this cozy Airbnb for 2 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I booked, the host Tony was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. The place itself was just as described — warm, inviting, and spotless. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, which made it so convenient to prepare meals. One of my favorite parts was the excellent patio area. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and make use of the BBQ — such a relaxing way to spend the evenings. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be visiting again in the future!

We had a relaxing stay . Sid met us at front door and even though it was on the second floor Sid carried my bags upstairs for me . On Sid’s recommendation we went straight to a lovely Italian restaurant across road . The kitchen was very good and stove easy to manage . Bath towels lovely and soft with a beautiful smell. Location was great. house was clean and exactly matched the photos. Cruise, town hall, downtown, restaurants were all walking distance. Vanessa replied promptly if we had any questions. Worth the visit!!!

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

We were so grateful to have an affordable place for our large family to gather comfortably in the winter. The large private property was a real asset as we had lots of kids in our group who like to play outside and this let the adults have some peaceful moments together. The kitchen’s had everything we needed. The houses were clean and uncluttered, yet cozy. All the furniture was useful and practical. Robin was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning one day.

Kim's home was the perfect winter getaway. Very spacious and warm, and close to the lake and great trails for hiking and snowshoeing. Only tip is if you plan on doing any cooking, there's no oil, salt, pepper, etc so come prepared!

A great vacation

Even more beautiful than the photos, the house and surroundings were beyond our expectations. Our family only were able to spend a few days but every minute was enjoyed. The waterfront is very accessible and was loads of fun.

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!
