I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

It is located in beautiful environment. I loved the fact that we could enjoy the sea view from sauna. The cottage is beautiful and functional. Personally can't find anything to complain about it. I would recommend to bring thermacell or something similar during the mosquito season to enjoy the outside activities near the cottage vicinity, like barbequin or enjoying the evening in the jacuzzi. It is the nicest Airbnb spot that I've visited to date in the last five years.

A very beautiful house in a very quiet and beautiful place, halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi. The sauna and Kota are amazing and awesome. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were able to do nearby activities, snowshoe rides in Kätkävaara, sled dogs and snowmobile in Parpalandia, Finnish sauna in Kemi with swimming in the frozen Baltic Sea. It is also possible to see the auroras from the house. A great stay and a beautiful house in the middle of nature, quiet and serene. In addition, Marja has always been super responsive in answering all our questions. Thanks so much to Marja. We loved this stay. Florence, Bruno and Mathéo

Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

If we could give this beautiful cabin 10 stars we would. It’s absolutely gorgeous & in an incredible location at the waters edge of a beautiful lake. Great views from the cabin & the sauna plus you have your very own private seating area and a bbq/fire seating area right by the lakeside. The hosts were brilliant and kindly showed us how things worked (sauna, aircon, hot tub etc). If you’re looking for a beautiful cabin and some private relaxation it doesn’t get better than this. With the added bonus of been only a few KMs from Rovaniemi and some great hikes
