It was an adventure from the moment you turn on the dirt road with spanning lake views; we pulled to Juniper point. We were warmly greeted upon arriving and told of all the amenities we could enjoy while on the property. This included life vest for our small children, kayaks, paddle boards and a playground! Our cottage was well decorated with great views and lighting, efficient AC and accouterments expected in a working kitchen. With the aroma of a clean environment we were satisfied with the upkeep between guest. We totally recommend this place and look forward to visiting again in the near future. The host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Just a great time vacationing at this property!

A welcome retreat from the haze and the noise and the cityness of the city.

Such a thoughtfully put together space. Feels like home but almost better because you can tell thought was put into the details. Even had a candle and oil diffuser which was a nice touch. The breakfast was simple but did the job, and the bed was super comfy!

Steezy's guest cottage is in an excellent centralized location for access to all of Bakersfield. The cottage was small, yet perfect for one person visiting on business. The WiFi worked very well. The kitchen is like new with everything needed. The ability to park inside the gated drive was a very nice added security option adding good value to the property. I would certainly use Steezy's place again if available and would recommend to others for similar use.

This was such a special place to stay. Beautifully decorated and surrounded by a little slice of garden paradise. We loved the fresh eggs and sipping coffee on the porch in the sun every morning. Since we love dogs, Sam let hers come hang out with us. Two very adorable cuddle bugs. The hiking in the area is world-class and you might even be surprised with quality events in the area, like great live music. This cabin is a gorgeous place to unplug, unwind and really enjoy the sights and sounds of nature around you. Sam is a wonderful host, too. Highly recommended!

Tranquil spot with great views. Place was comfortable for single occupancy. I arrived late in the evening and was assisted in getting into the accommodation. Host was responsive at all times and even got my Amazon parcel brought from the USPS office in town.

Anabely was extremely responsive and very accommodating. We had a great stay with our dogs. The place was clean and spacious, very comfortable and it was a blessing to be able to have our dogs too. It was close to grocery stores and food. I would definitely be back.

Martha is extremely kind and flexible. Few minor hiccups in middle of night, but other than that it was exactly what was needed. Thanks Martha!

This was a beautiful space and very comfortable. It is in a slightly remote area but worth the 10 minute drive from the main highway. My team decided to leave the valley in the evening to avoid heavy traffic while traveling to San Diego. We got a comfortable nights sleep and woke up to a beautiful and peaceful morning. Great price compared to local hotels especially since we had a group of 5.

The Tree house was perfect for the time we spent in Bakersfield. We had some mechanical issues with our motor home and after we dropped it off at 8 am I texted Jacob and he said everything was ready for us. The house had everything we would needed including laundry. We have 2 small dogs and yard was secured for them. Jacob told us fun places to eat and if we needed anything he always texted back right away.

I came all the way from New Hampshire. I was here for two days and didn’t like where I was staying, and I ended up Finding Her Place. She had me in within two days and she even had it cleaned early for me so that way when I checked out of my Airbnb, I was able to go straight to her house. Her and her husband are very knowledgeable. Everything I needed they gave me someone to contact. Even had some car issues and they had their mechanic come look at my car for me. I’m traveling all the way from New Hampshire to Maria’s was exhausting and I felt right at home. It was so wonderful and peaceful. They definitely made me feel welcome and safe, especially coming from an area that has nothing. Maria and her husband were actually the first people I met here they made my whole experience in California amazing. I am very thankful for them. It’s absolutely beautiful and comfortable and peaceful. I definitely enjoyed my stay and I would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

Due to weather conditions where we are were originally planning to go, we found this place in a quick pinch. What a pleasant surprise! The hosts were absolutely lovely as was this cute little casita. Would definitely stay again if passing through bakersfield!

Belinda is an absolutely fabulous host! The house had everything we could possibly need — toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, tampons, snacks, beverages, fresh fruit, even instant noodles and cereal. She truly thought of everything. I had such a lovely evening with my kids — we watched a movie, enjoyed some snacks and drinks, and just felt completely at home. I was genuinely touched by Belinda’s kindness and generosity. She’s a true role model for every Airbnb host!

Julia was a great host. Julia was always quick to respond to questions. All the amenities were there to be able to prepare meals for a family. I really appreciated the private parking and just over all hospitality. The place was exactly like the pictures and the place was super cozy.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay during our fishing trip! The location was perfect—just a short drive to the Kern River, which made it super convenient for early morning fishing. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. We loved coming back to such a peaceful and comfortable space after spending the day outdoors. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Kern River area!
